My Inspiron

Thanks honey, now I can blog and take pictures at the same time! My two favorite things.

Catching Z's

Image
Charlie decided yesterday not to take a nap all day, so last night was nothing but fun for her and I. Since she was so exhausted from her new routine, I let her play in her crib today. After 20 minutes, this is how I found her. I almost woke her up with all my giggling .

Frugality Suicide

Got Taco's? I do. Three soft taco's. Three soft Taco Time taco's at the pretty tune of 13.17! I questioned the amount three times at the drive thru and not once did she even hint that these taco's were huge. Valerie wanted just three soft taco's, not three huge gut bombs. Whatever happened to little soft taco's, like taco bell's? I guess I know now that the two chains aren't even comparable. Life Lesson #3,249 learned.

Sitting Pretty!!!

Charlie and her new Britax carseat (specially made carseat cover from ebay) Isn't she cute??

Love Languages

Image
Mark surprised me today with another dozen roses (the red ones he bought last week were almost dead), and two peppermint patties! I am soooo enjoying all these little surprise love gifts. I thought of him today too...I made him his favorite chili, bought him trail mix, and looked for a Christmas gift for him.

Horsie Ride

Image
Little Horsie is still around after 9 years. Valerie got this rocking pony from Grandpa and Grandma Wegley when they came for Mark's graduation from Boise State. Weird, how fast time flies...

My camera was refusing to download these last few gems off the camera to our PC, but now that I am on Mark's laptop I have access to these last silly Halloween photo's. Here, I've captured the softer side of Mike :)

Tricks and Treats

Image
We hosted our annual " Halloween bash" this year, with quite a turn out. We love doing this party every year for the kids because we have so much fun decorating and making ghoulish food, but since we moved back home last year the party just keeps getting bigger! My sister, brother, and their kids, and grandparents came this year. Menu: pizza, harvest salad, almond bark pretzels, franken cakes, vampire blood drink, a bit of brain (jello mold) and lots of candy! The 1st Annual Costume Contest was won by Ryan Cortez . The winner will be the one to host the bash next year (that's a load off my back--yeah). Our Costumes: Valerie-The Big Bad Wolf Charlie-Little Red Riding Hood Ethan-Phantom monster Mark-Priest Me-Nun
