Comfort Zones

I applied. Day shift is looking sweeter and sweeter to me everyday. If I don't get it because of seniority that's okay too, because my goofball friends at work are awesome. They keep me laughing all the time (which is good for my BP), and they help out when I am swamped. I am supported. Day shift is loud, busy, high volumes of traffic, open to increased spending since they have a cafeteria available, management filled, Dr. driven, and all around 100 percent different than anything we have going on at nights. I. A.p.p.l.i.e.d. I even told my husband about it so I don't weasel out of it. Will it be different for my family? Same amount of days, but no sleeping during the day. I will sleep when they do. I will wake when they do. I will eat breakfast when they do. I WILL accept. I have applied!

My littlest loves shopping. On a recent shopping trip the other day, she found a naked mannequin. She dressed up the mannequin without any help from Valerie and I. She did a great job and was really proud of her work. A couple days later she found herself a princess dress in downtown Puyallup. She tried to convince me to buy it but it was priced at 69.95! Yikes;)

February Fun

We have been very busy this month. We are thankful to be able to play as much as we have lately. We need to slow down though because I am tired. Beginning early February we went to Roslyn with my sister and her family for an extended weekend. It was a lot of fun. We spent three nights and four days up in the mountains near snow. We spent out time sledding, ice skating, eating, hot tubbing, and socializing. By the end of the month I was preschool helper twice, became members of the EMP, went to Point Defiance Zoo, went to a book reading with the Daffodil Princesses, Charlie made homemade book marks for everyone, and went to an Oscar Party thrown by The Slaughters. In between weeks I had one of the worst ever months at work. I'm tired, worn out, and waiting for spring to come. I am looking forward to the next few months. I am ready to plant, watch my garden grown and stock up on some much needed Vitamin D!
