Candyland Dance

Image
Nails Done!   She got about 4-5 inches off!!                       The girls had a great time running away from Mark acting all shy at the dance. They had fun though and that's all that counts. They danced, ate cupcakes, and spent the night being goofy. Charlie loved being princess for a day. We got her nails done, hair cut and styled, she wore a pretty pink dress, rocked high heels, and was given a coursage by her daddy. Mark thought it was important to do the dance right..for both the girls.I love him for that. He was very selfless that night and made both girls feel like the Queens of the Ball!!! There was this small instance were Charlie stepped in some glass and cut her foot but her daddy was quick to help and took care of everything. She even thanked him later for taking such good care of her even though he isn't a nurse. Precious memories were made. I hope that Lanie truly enjoyed having Mark take her. Wha...

Date Night

Ethan wanted us to meet his "friend" Caitlin from Camp Gilead. They have been skyping ever since Camp in early July! He has met her parents over skype so the kids were determined to get the parents together for approval (I think that was the purpose anyways). Caitlin is sweet, smart, keeps Ethan in line, keeps him focused, and he can't stop himself from have the largest smile on his face when she is around. I am excited for their relationship...wherever it is in its process. Her parents are wonderful people as well. Apparently Mark has even emailed their older son who works at TCC with the foreign exchange students program. Small world. I'm completely positive that we will be seeing this lady and her family at future events.

Snow Monday

Last Monday was our first and probably the last snow day of the year! I normally have Mondays off but I picked up a princess shift so I had to go in for a few hours. The kids spent the morning creating Mr. snowman and the after I got off we drove to Puyallup and walked down town with the kids, shopped at the antique stores, and ate lunch at Trackside Pizza! It was fun, and very slushy wet outside.
