Field Tripping
Last field trip of Charlie’s Elementary Journey was today so since I started my stretch off, I joined her. She isn’t at that age where she is embarrassed of her mom so she was over the top excited that I came. Truly I was just using the opportunity to tour The Farm at Franklin Pierce and spend time with her. I am 100% loving the community garden that I joined last year so I wanted to see what they had going so that maybe I could join this one! I might volunteer a couple days there and work to help keep the garden up. We had a bunch of fun planting potatoes and wildflowers, eating edible flowers, visiting bee 🐝 hives, tasting herbs in a green house, walking through a field of Rye, visiting chickens, and touring The Farm. Ditching her friends to walk with mom!
