Why I hate cell phones...

daddy holdin me
Finally a picture of my new nephew! I think this is a "precious" picture, minus the irritating cell phone in his right hand. Why do people want to spoil the important moments in their lives? Set the phone down! Set your phones down, and realize there are people around you that crave your attention! I'm not just talking to my brother, but to all of you who carry one of those crazy things.

On the other hand, he is quite adorable, do you think? I welcome you, Jaxon! I hope that this life brings you much joy and happiness! Congratulations Jeremy and Lexie!

Yeah I know what you mean,I think we all get entangled into the newest technology and that drains important time with our families.Computer,T.V. cell phone and all but I can also see where two of the three are very useful when used wisely....but how many of us actually use them wisely?LOL

You're a goof. Another distinct difference between WA and AR. When you're faced with paying bills, getting to and from work, staying in touch with friends and family with all these items sometimes more than 25 miles away, you use your cell phone. Think of it this way...Jeremy was probably paying his Macy's bill while Jax was taking a nap. No different than you being on your phone, cooking dinner, while your kids watch tv.

whooo-hooo Shannon!!

My first thought was that he is such a proud papa that he was text messaging his friends.

Judge not lest ye be judged.
>8-)~

or maybe he had taken a picture of his beautiful sleeping boy with his phone to show all of his friends, or even send the picture to people.

p.s. Shannon, it's not an AR thing, it's an Ang thing. (mark too).

-Ch,
I know you don't understand this, but there is a time and place for cell phones! It looks to me like it wasn't the best time! I am guilty of spending too much time on our home phone when I should be spending time with the kids! I'll admit it! The thing is cell phone users are notorious for using them at improper times. If you don't know what they are let me tell you...in the car, at the movies, while on a date, at dinner, when a friend is visiting. It only let the person you are with know that they are not as important. Oh and please turn down your ridiculous ringers! No one wants to hear the latest leud song blaring from your phones.

not only does my sister use them at all the innappropiate times (see ang's list) , and have a ringtone with a song on it i wouldn't want my kids to hear, but she also has call waiting. and i can actually tell when i'm talking to her that sometimes she'll get a call and hold out the phone to see who is calling and miss half of what i was saying! irritates the fire out of me! she can't even wait till we're off to see who's phonecall she missed. aaaarrrrggghhh!
No No No you guys have it all wrong. He had to take the phone away from Jaxon so Jaxon would take a picture with daddy. Other wise Jaxon was calling all his babes. Look at the whole picture.

now, now, put out the fire spilling from your fingertips . . . contrary to your belief, I *do* "understand this". Just because I own & use a cell phone rather than a home phone does NOT mean that I think they're appropriate in all situations.
I'm saying that you shouldn't judge the happenings and those there by the scene in the pic. And what if Jaxon were sleeping? Is Jeremy wrong for multi-tasking? At least his hand is on the swaddled babe. Surely you have other pics where the phone does NOT appear. If not, then it's a biased account. That's like if you had one SINGLE photo of me in VA and I was near a horse. Would that mean I bought a horse in VA? Does that mean I'm horse farming? Does that mean I prefer the horse to my dog? or Amiee? presumptions, my dear, presumptions.

If Ang had a ringtone with the Grey's Anatomy tune, she'd be all over it. Enough said.

-ch,

Get your point. Don't be offended! Although this is the only photo I have of him with Jaxon. You would have to know my brother, to understand why I was alittle frustrated with the cell phone in his hand. I don't just jump to conclusions...

Let's make up! Kiss kiss!

Shannon,

Love the show, hate the introduction music! Would rather have BTVS musical over GA! Now there is a good reason to get a cell phone!

My father once told me that he'd never use a computer since he got along just fine without them all of his life. Could it be that you are getting older like my Pa? Or maybe since you've never owned one you really don't understand the beauty of them. I don't even wear a watch anymore. And your poor defenseless little brother who probally dosen't even know what a blog is...I have never heard him say anything bad about his sister Angie, only Shannon. (he he) Call me later, my cell # is 360-870-FUNY. Bye Sis:)
p.s. how many times have you borrowed one of these evil things?(be honest)
p.s.s. I hate my cell phone because it's like an electronic leash, if ya know what I mean. But once you have one, you don't leave home without it. And just like your home phone, you can turn off the ringer...one difference is that cell phones can be swithced to "vibrate":) (very stealthy)

honey, no need to kiss & make up. While I'll give and take kisses anytime, I wasn't offended, but rather just debating it to my liking. You know me, it takes a lot to let a topic drop. I was going to mention something about sibling sentiments, but felt it improper. however, I did laugh when you mentioned it.
Thanks for this though, I think that Shannon and I had a good time with it (you).

Angela I could jump on the cell phone band wagon.. even though I do own one, I don't even carry it in with me to restaurants, church, movies, or other places that I'm supposed to be doing something else! lol I'd probably be more guilty of driving and talking on the phone more if I didn't have Altel service.. which only works IN TOWN lol! (won't work out here!)I'm bad about answering my call waiting on our home phone but that's b/c we don't have callerid for callwaiting.. and I'm always afraid it's something about clayton when he's out working! I'm so paranoid!
