Playing Catch Up!
I will try to catch you up on some photo's so my daughter doesn't feel the need to steel time on my blog...after all she needs to spend her time pooping instead! Aren't all parents obsessed with their children's poop? I ,being a critical care RN, should know when it enough is enough right? Here are some pictures of Charlie on her birthday. My mom was lucky (although I'm not sure if that is what she would have called it) to see her first C-section. It was so nice to have her there. It was smooth after the fourth spinal block attempt. During the procedure, I was continually asking what my vital signs were (the RN in me just couldn't relax). I did end up with a case of nausea post procedure. Unfortunately, I asked for some Phenergan, so when the kids and in-laws came to see me, I was pretty much out of it. Hence, no pictures of Ethan or Valerie holding/seeing Char Char for the first time:( After three days of living off cranberry juice, and the hospital's nummy food, I was sent home. If you know me, you know that I absolutely love the hospital experience. I can handle people waiting on me, coming to see me, bringing me food, and letting/requesting I sleep whenever possible. It's the life! Of course, I am not one to sit in bed too long so these precious three days were exactly that...precious. I loved holding her. I felt complete knowing that this was the last one (tubal and all). The experience was awesome.
