Our awesome campsite....H21! Wish we could have a house with a creek in our backyard!

Back of our campsite!
We took two nights and three days during my vacation, to relax and enjoy the scenery of Mt. Ranier. We camped at Ohanapecosh. The camp was beautiful and had some awesome sites to choose from. We were fortunate and found a camp with a creek. The kids had a blast following the creek up and down the water's edge. The water was so clear and enticing, that I asked Valerie if I could wash her hair in the water. She agreed, but with one condition. She wanted to do mine. I tried to get out of it after I saw that it gave her brain freeze, but thought I stuck to my word. It was cold, but it felt very serene. After all, isn't this what they used to do in the olden days? I felt like Laura Ingalls Wilder. I know that I had far more amenities than she, such as my blow up mattress, but I had fun pretending! I even used the grate to cook, instead of the camp stove! Unfortunately I left Laura in the big woods, and came home as "Just Me."
