Kicking Myself Currently

I love going back and reading my blog. I can see the changes in me (although sometimes not for the better) and in my family. I can see where we've been, and where we are heading. I love progression, although my life is filled with regression.

I thought recently, after the hunk of change old government money bags gave back to us (or stole, just depends on how you look at it) that I needed a tiny camera to capture all those moments I was missing because I refused (or forgot) to bring my Kodak. In my mind my new camera would:

1. Never run out of batteries
2. Forever be in my purse because it's small
3. Be as posh as my sisters
4. Take fantastic pictures (regardless of the photographer)
5. Never let me down

Big expectations for such a tiny camera. What I have discovered, since my Nikon has failed at all 5 tasks, is that people who take fantastic pictures, who never run out of batteries, who always manage to catch that rare shot, is a person who makes captivating moments one of their top priorities. Just like blogging, it won't continue to show progression and regression unless I remain faithful. Boy, there's a word. Faithful.

I need to be Faithful in blogging, weight loss, finances, spirituality, friendship, loving, giving, family time, and of course faithful to our kitty who needs a couple of hugs a day. I fail in faithfulness daily. But I have had two great conversations today and both  of those wise women said the same thing: Baby steps. Baby steps must be the key. So I will put on my Robie's and practice walking alongside my couch today.

I want to take you on some picture journey's that we have had recently. Much to see, lots to share. Hold on to your adult size shoes and enjoy the ride.
