Reunion: Finale

Trophy's went to:
Brady Gibson-May I
Brady Gibson-golf and all around
Vicky Lewis-shopping

Monday morning we fed the group chorizo and sausage breakfast burritos. Yummy! We packed up everyone, and cleaned our cabin (felt like we were back at Camp Gilead) in record time. We said our final goodbyes, took family and group pictures, and headed back home. Tough to say goodbye since our older generation has had a rough year. Aunt Miget and Uncle Dave have both suffered a strenuous year with a broken shoulder and Dave's CABG. Grandma Arlene can still run circles around this group, even around Grandpa. She's a fighter like her dad. So is Miget. We will miss the family but hope to see everyone next year at Ocean Shores! I can't wait to make the sleeping arrangements for next year! Score Wegley's!!!

Final stop before headed home, the Astoria column. The kids all flew their planes off the top and Ethan's was swept the farthest into the forest by a wind gust. awesome. Charlie didn't care to get anywhere near the railing, and was the first one to request to go back to the ground. We drove home the longer route through Longview because the kids begged to go over the huge bridge in Astoria. The drive was quick and luckily their was hardly anyone on the roads. We unfortunately stopped for food in Longview and left behind Mr Pokey. We didn't miss him until Olympia...and then everyone was sad that we left him behind at Dairy Queen. Mr. Pokey, Charlie's pink blanket, will be picked up by FedEx on Monday and should be here by Tuesday;)
