It was a Wacky Wednesday
Last week Harvard celebrated Dr Seuss' birthday with different dress up days based on his books. Wednesday was Charlie's favorite, Wacky Wednesday. She loved dressing up in an outfit that didn't match. She wore whatever she thought she could get away with. I don't know what she loved more...having wacky hair or wacky clothes!
My Wednesday was quite the opposite. I threw away all insecurities and went with a friend to the Olympus Spa for a ME day. We had such a blast. Walking around either in a thin robe drinking tea and eating Korean food, or being completely nude in the pools/massage room was very liberating. I loved it. It made me appreciate my body. Sure, I would love it to look like Amy Adams but it's doesn't right now. Accepting myself will help lead to change. I am my worst enemy. I talk so horrible to myself sometimes, and sitting there
Naked with many different women made me realize that apart from Hollywood, perfect women don't exist.
My body deserves clothes, perfumes, care, and concerns just as much as if it were 115 pounds. It was an eye opening, relaxing, wonderful ME day!
