Snapchat

Snapchat is a fun little app! It allows my 7 year old to get completely crazy. Some of these are scary but she just starts laughing when the scary ones come across. Snapchat is like sending pictures instead of worded messages. Who wouldn't love that? Besides me because I prefer not to take selfies! Or you can send normal pictures of crazy things you do daily to your friends.

Zoolights

Love the lights at Point Defiance Zoo. We decided to take the kids this year even though the lights are basically the same every year. I think it's been 3 years since we went as a family. I just felt that Charlie NEEDED to see Santa swim with the Sharks! We got there and decided to walk around, and then go see Santa around 715p. Well apparently he only does his gig from 6-7p. We missed it. I missed it. I robbed my daughter of the opportunity to see a crazy man in a red suit swimming with the Sharks! But , I redeemed myself with a family ride on the Zoo's carousel. We had a blast giggling and taking pictures as we rode and picked our favorite animals. We didn't need Santa after all. Good lesson for momma, LESS is more!

WOF Loved Tour #2015

What a way to kick of the Holiday Season! Three days/two nights with my moma, sis, and daughter at the WoF conference in Portland Oregon. We had a good time with lots of laughs, giddiness, and a few tears. It was really a blessing in disguise that we went because we ended up having to drive to Kaiser Oregon to help my dad out. He decided to drive to Reno alone,  and on the trip back he broke down on the side of the freeway. It was nighttime and raining and ended up walking a ways before the Police took him to the nearest hospital. He was very confused at the time. When he saw us, he gave my sister the biggest hug and started crying...tender moment. We shopped, talked, snickered, and enjoyed ourselves all weekend.

A Day of Thanks

I I was blessed with every holiday off this year, and Thanksgiving started the ball rolling into a very fine holiday season. We spent the day with Mark's family. It was just us there and it WAS wonderful! Mom and I cooked together, cleaned up together, and did it very well. We had each other's back! I am Thankful for my    MIL and how hard she works to host all the time. She even tried to mix it up this year...usually it's the same food every year! She started out dinner with homemade pumpkin soup! It was so yummy. I made the Pioneer Woman's Pumpkin Cheesecake. She even kept us full of apple cider all day long. I believe Ethan had 7-8 cups of hot cider. We all agreed to continue this tradition and the pumpkin soup at Christmas. I did three videos on what everyone was Thankful for on my YouTube channel. Hope you enjoy it. The kids were wonderful!  The next morning, I went to work and Val spent the morning Black Friday shopping with her grandma.

Photo Collection

I collect photos! It's why I had to purchase a new phone. I didn't have enough space and I was constantly saying, "hey Mark, can you take a picture of that for me?" Usually it's crucial pictures that I don't have space to take like birthdays or family events. Argh. I like to snap though. I enjoy remembering what inspires me, what I dreamed about wanting. Sometimes in a month I look back and think, "why didn't I buy that?" And sometimes it's, "what the heck was I thinking?" It keeps me in check. Here are my top picks, lately! All these things I love even after the month has disappeared. 1. Kate Spade purse  2. Mermaid wallpaper 3. Rachel Ray's cookware 4. Most used words on my Facebook account 5. My surprise flowers at work from my honey 6. Quote that touched me...must have had a rough day 7. Valerie's hair color 8. Rug at Fred Meyer's that I want 9. How I feel when I look at my husband and children Seriously though...tha...
