Gold Frankincense + Myrrh

Christmas Eve- Wegley Celebration
It was our first Christmas over at the new house. Surprisingly we all fit in their new house. Apparently mom had asked the guy next door if we are too loud when she has the family over but they said they couldn't hear a thing. So dad tested it....he gave us all kazoos for Christmas! It was awesome. We hummed several Christmas songs and near drove mom mad with them. She kept saying, "I told you that was a bad idea Harry!" It was MY favorite gift because it got us all doing something together--ha ha ha! Valerie got a Kearse jersey, Ethan a soccer ball, and Charlie a large stuffed lion from G+G. We played the adult exchange gift with them and everyone seemed to have a good time-enough that they want to do it again next year. We gave mom and dad a last minute gift of folding chairs, and socks for all the girls. Mark and I walked away with a diffuser and a nice Seahawks Blanket for our exchange gifts.

Christmas Day- Thanks to Charlie's cheese and Meat tray left out for Santa (with arrows leading to it's placement), Santa found us. We got up super early and celebrated our familys/santas gift giving. We went lighter this year because the kids really wanted $$$$ instead of gifts. Charlie got an electric scooter from Santa, Ethan a 2014 World Cup Soccer ball signed by Brad Evans Team USA and cash, and Valerie a ticket to D.C. and a Baggolini to hold her cash for the trip;)! Mark and Ethan showered me with lots of love--aka a new bracelet from Pandora and a crown charm! Ethan calls me Queen Bee so it's befitting me...the crown that is! Valerie gifted me some really amazing teas! My kids are amazing gift givers...they came up with all of it on their own!! The girls and I gifted Mark a turn table to play records on. His dad has oodles of records and some are coming his way and he loves music and records so it was a perfect gift! After Char had a chance to ride her scooter we headed over to another Christmas. We are truly blessed to have three Christmas celebrations. We spent the morning with my family. It was a quiet celebration and I didn't even loose my mind, so a super PLUS.  What were we thinking having kids at the same time..hahhahah! The kids did great, and although we were missing a huge piece of our family, we still enjoyed each other's company. My heart breaks for my niece and nephew and my sister. Life is unfair. The feeling if dwelt upon leaves me baffled and unbelieving in a fair universe. I love those kids. They are amazingly strong beautiful people! My dad wasn't feeling too well that day, which makes me sooo sad. It is so hard watching loved ones get older. I have tried to distance myself from my grandparents because of this but this next year one of my resolutions is to stop allowing myself the luxury of distance and to be involved. I love my grandpa and grandma GIgi. They loved us and spent so much time with us....big sacrifices. Heck they even took us all camping! I could never do that!

Mom did a great job hosting and even putting most of the food together. We stayed till about 2p and then I had to go to work.
