Sweet 29 Again!
Charlie is so sweet! While I drew my own picture for my Birthday card (she asked me too) she make me a cake (aka a small cheesecake we had in the fridge and stuck a candle in it) and played some tunes from Moana for me. I really enjoyed making this stick figure "Wegley Portrait" for myself. I was very proud of it, since I have zero Artistic talent. I love art though! Art class at Western is where Mark and I met and fell in love.
She even set out Uno cards for us. We played three hands and then moved on to Zombies....
Tina is in town so we all met up at Black Bear for frozen yogurt. We pretended it was for my birthday but I think it was so we could hang out one more time before she flew back to Hawaii! I love spending time with this side of the family. They are so fun to be with. Pranksters and jokesters and just really great people. Unfortunately Mark had to take Charlie home because she threw up all over in the bathroom. Poor pumpkin. Every time she throws up she asks me, "am I going to die?" It's so sad seeing her worried. The Novovirus spreads like wildfire though. Wonder who will be next? Happy Birthday ME!
Mark made me my birthday dinner request...prime rib! It was deliciousness. He made it all by himself. It was soooo good. The kids and Mark replaced our huge boxed TV in the front room with a smart TV and Valerie gave me her gift last....a 20 minute foot massage. She REALLY knows how to give great foot massages! What a wonderful day. It was relaxing and pleasant. I do secretly LOVE my birthdays, I just H-A-T-E the getting older part.
