Calming an Overactive Brain

Our conference the other day was all about calming our thoughts, worries, stressors, sleep and it’s benefits, so and so forth. It was very well presented and I pulled quite a few ideas from it. One being the Thankfulness/Gratitude journal and the worry journal. So after picking one up at TG while waiting for Mark’s surgery to be over, I decided I would combine the two. So it’s like a flip book...one side is for worrying and the other is for three things I am thankful for each day. I have three days worth already since I was able to transfer over the past two days. I can’t say I am a changed, calm person but I am definitely putting a effort in. Today I completed my job requirements and am just awaiting final completion. It is out of my hands at this time. It went into the worrying section but I wrote that there is nothing I can do except formulate my documents for my current job. It is now my action plan. I am thankful for all the blessings I have received and how God orchestrates everything in his own timing and all for the better. I am blessed.
