The Dalai Lama’s Yesterday

Thanksgiving 2020.

Thankful for my family, my job at KP, the better life we are living, no stress at work (except for Covid Stress-which doesn’t compare to my last pandemic-Donna) food, fantastic kids, these people who still wanted to gather this year, and Arline for making the sacrifice to walk outside for these beautiful pictures (we have to beg every year).

Sasha’s First Thanksgiving-pumpkin treats and Gobble Gobble treats from Bark box!

The next day we put on masks and headed to Valerie’s!

Hello cutie!

Cute book store in Bozeman:there’s always got to be one per trip.

Did I mention it was quirky too? They had mannequin legs shoved into the ceiling all over.

Painted art on the walls upstairs

Tempted to buy this cute journal-Hey Girl with a pic of Ryan Gosling!

The air here is so crisp. As crisp as this picture of Livingston Montana. #nofilter #moviebackdrop

Skirted deer without a mask!

One of my favorite Mom daughter pictures ever! Eating in doors in Montana. We should move here!

Quote from the Dalai. Saved so I could add it to my notes folder on my phone. Words to live by..

Livingston Montana reminds me of our coastal towns with cute shops. Valerie and her new real leopard fur purse.

She amazes me! Love listening to her play guitar 🎸

It was a short trip for me but so worth it. We stayed at her house and had so much fun together. We watched a movie, ate, listen to her play guitar, went to Livingston to shop, and took Hershey out to the park. I slept closest to her window both nights and kept the window cracked just so I could enjoy the fresh mountain air each night. Valerie is so lucky to live in such a beautiful, open despite Covid, town.

Hersey in the doggie backpack!
