Just Me!!

Las Vegas baby…here I come! Las Vegas has always been one of my favorite places to go. I love people watching, crazy outfits, beautiful lights/displays, and things to do that are amazing and spectacular. I actually feel bad for those that gamble…they waste so much time in the casino, missing out on the wonderful art, people, and experiences around them. We didn’t spend a dime on gambling…but found a lot of experiences (wish we had more days to experience even more). I love making memories….those are worth every penny I have…especially when Mark is with me.  This vacation was actually education time. I complete 52 hours of online learning in between our moments of fun. I spent time at the airport, the Venetian shops seating, and the room studying. It was very relaxing! I need that…time away from the house (and the list of things I need to do there) to unwind and focus. Halloween 2021 is in the books! Charlie has made parenting so easy lately! All she needed for her costume (vampire girl) was a skirt. We found these little gem at Goodwill! She does her own scary make up all the time so I do t even have to help with that. We met a guy in Fircrest that said his kids are done because they are 12 this year. I laughed and told him my kids trick or treat until 20. Ethan didn’t trick or treat this year probably because he and Sam were away celebrating their 5th year anniversary:). Valerie still dressed up but had to work so when she sends me a pic I will add it! Sasha got to go with and did very well at maneuvering people. She even got lots of loves from strangers. Note to self: bring a bowl of water for Sasha!  My sister came to visit us this past weekend. It was so nice to spend some time with her and my mom. I picked her up on Thursday and we had lunch and then visited/hot tubbed. Friday I had to work so mom and Shannon came over to had lunch with me,...

We have been working on ourselves lately and find that at this time we are making strides. Mark has hit his goal weight and now plans to start tightening it up. It’s important as we are aging that we stride toward optimal health since we want to enjoy these next years of our lives/retirement someday. I hate getting old but love getting older and spending each day with him. I didn’t love this man at the beginning nearly as much as I do now. I’m not afraid of telling/showing him who I am and would love just to talk the night away every night! He is amazing 🤩 He supports me in everything I do and believes that I can do anything—well maybe there are doubts that I could be  a singing sensation one day.  Still if I wanted it..he would back me!  So I’m headed off to Las Vegas..alone for the night.
