Las Vegas Baby

Las Vegas baby…here I come! Las Vegas has always been one of my favorite places to go. I love people watching, crazy outfits, beautiful lights/displays, and things to do that are amazing and spectacular. I actually feel bad for those that gamble…they waste so much time in the casino, missing out on the wonderful art, people, and experiences around them. We didn’t spend a dime on gambling…but found a lot of experiences (wish we had more days to experience even more). I love making memories….those are worth every penny I have…especially when Mark is with me.

This vacation was actually education time. I complete 52 hours of online learning in between our moments of fun. I spent time at the airport, the Venetian shops seating, and the room studying. It was very relaxing! I need that…time away from the house (and the list of things I need to do there) to unwind and focus. Mark had work to do as well so it worked out perfectly.

I flew alone to Las Vegas because Mark had a soccer game with Ethan to go too. It was a bday present from Ethan. It gave me time to do homework!

When he got there we spent a few more hours doing education and then the fun started. We walked the strip and enjoyed the nightlife. The Bellagio fountain show was absolutely amazing so we stayed, talked, and watch it two times. I could’ve watched it all night…. We went to Planet Hollywood and did their shops. We met the neatest guy, with the best story. His clothing line rocks too. We bought one of his shirts (thank goodness he gave us the Colorado discount) because his mission was so beautiful and inspiring. He used to sale his items out of a van…now because he found his story/movie he has quite the business in Las Vegas! Thank you @bhoodwear for sharing yourself with two complete strangers and for the Colorado discount!

The next day we broke away from the hotel and went to the Arts District off the strip. We saw so much fun old eclectic stuff and few records ;)

Nighttime fun!!! Derek Hough…the very real reason I went to Las Vegas. He also had encouraging and inspiring words. His moto “You’re Enough!” I needed to hear that too;) I got a zippered hoodie from his performance! My favorite fun reminder that there is NO LIMIT and that I AM enough!

Can’t see his bhood shirt very well…but it fits amazingly!
