Pay it forward...the second time!

A bumper sticker. My bumper sticker (well, not actually adhered to the car yet!). What this means for you? My sister from Washington was kind enough to scrape up 4 of these lovely bumper stickers. Two have been spoken for, and two I want to give away. In the south this is a prized possession, since Wal-Mart (Hell-Mart) has a monopoly on what we can buy. I hate Wal-Mart...and would never shop there again if we had another good grocery store (The Pig doesn't count). Although I may never place this on my bumper, for fear of having my tires slashed, I still love looking at it on the fridge (Mark is putting one on his office bulletin board). So this is the offer. The first two commenters will receive this lovely bumper sticker, courtesy of me, myself, and I (oh, and my sister Shannon)!

Hey I'll take one.. but I love walmart! (well not ours.. it sucks.. but bigger ones) I'd be very interested to hear what your beef with wally world is! What don't I know? BTW I was SOOO happy you came to playgroup this morning! *big grin* I even told Suzanne later that, "I really hope Angela and I can get to know each other better!" :)
Wow that is a bold statement! My brother in law and sister in law dont shop at Wal-Mart,"they dont like what it stands for" but of course they do not live here, they live in Sikeston,Missouri, here it seems to be a thing.Sorry I missed playgroup this morning-I had a migraine, even though my children will be in school also,I will try to be there next Tuesday.;)

Mandy, thanks for being so sweet. I hope we have a chance apart from play group too. You are full of fun...always looking for some of that in my life. Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere. I think the only beef with wally world is, is that they are the only place to shop here in monticello. Nothing is cheap...compared to the prices that Wally has in the bigger cities. See they know that they have us between a rock and a hard place. Plus where is tofu jerky or hummus! Sometimes I like to cook exotic and what do you know...wally has none of the ingredients I am looking for. Since I follow a recipe to the tee it is hard for me to know what to substitute. Rachel Ray help me!!!! Wouldn't you love to have fresh meats, cheese, and vegetables?

I must agree. As Im from Washington. And can say for certain that our prices are much better. And what a choice. We have all sorts of cheeses, olives bar, ethnic foods, gourmet selections. And they even sell Rachel Rays cookbooks. Is that enough of a incentive for you to move home. Or this GRANDMA AND GRANDPA WILL WATCH THE KIDS WHILE YOU SHOP. OF COURSE YOU MUST MAKE US THAT GOURMET MEAL WHEN YOU GET HOME FROM wallmart! LOVE MOM
Over here!Over here! Ill take one! LOL

Wee...Walmart bashing. I leaned over that grey cart and took it up the tailpipe earlier this evening. I had to go to every single department and hunt down all of the fine people that I worked with in that horrid place. I almost felt guilty when I got to leave and they didn't.

Okay.. I totally understand that, Angela! And I'm with ya on the crappy selection of foods.. especially FRESH food. Where are the herbs and spices? I can't buy fresh thyme or rosemary there unless it's the new organic kind which costs A FORTUNE! So I'm stuck using dried!! So not the same! Often times ours doesn't even keep fresh Romaine lettuce in stock... but you can find a head of not so nutritious iceberg lettuce around every corner of produce. It is frustrating!

OK Angela, if you have one more left, Michael would love to have one. You know he is so anti Wal-mart

Wal-Mart...just like McStupids...only on a much broader scale. And this pathetic store here, has to be at the bottem of the W-M food chain. You KNOW I'll take one!
