Friday Fever...A Day Late!

1) Tell us about where you live:
-Southeast corner of Arkansas. I think!

2) If you could change one thing about your home, what would it be?
-The question is very significant because it is one of the reasons I had my breakdown 12 year cry this week....the answer CLUTTER. Can't stand clutter. I am not a knick knack person, so when stuff is hanging out everywhere I suddenly get in this wild and crazy tossing mode. I just signed up for FLYLADY.net to help me out with the problem...the clutter that is. First chore she assigned...to clean the sink till it sparkles. Gosh, I think I'm going to like this woman....

3) Do you do laundry on a regular schedule?
-Every day! God blesses me with a full laundry basket daily....just wish he'd bless my bank account the same way!

4) Describe the place that you sleep:
-A two year old Simmons Backcare bed! My 12 year old pillows are flat as a pancake, but I sleep best with them that that way. A burgundy colored duvet with a gold bedskirt dress the mattress.

5) This morning: was it easy or difficult to start the day?
-Easy, since it's Saturday!

Your bed sounds beautiful-Burgundy is my favorite color and have doused my house down in it-I hate clutter too but you could not tell it by looking at our house!

Prescription for Peace and Popsicles

Monday, when we got back from our anniversary trip, found a note on the counter that read: Suzanne called. Play group. Tuesday at 830am. Who would schedule a playgroup so early? Doesn't anyone sleep in? Let the kids find their own breakfast, and stay under the covers till they beg for lunch? Well, you know heat here in the summers, ranging around the 100's, makes us southerners wake up early in the a.m. to do the things we enjoy. When noon rolls around, we hull up in our homes, doors tightly shut, curtains drawn, trying to escape the BIG BAD (the sun appropriately named, right Spike?)! I guess that was not in the cards for us today! We spent the early morning hours playing at the park with pretty much everyone from Journey! Unfortunately around 10 a.m. the heat found us and forced us to retreat to Suzanne's house for some relief! My latest obsessions….puzzling The week after Coyote made a surprise visit! It’s been awhile since I posted! I was just looking back on some posts and giggled so I think it is important to continue since posts tell the story of my life. These pictures were from our latest venture to Paso Robles to see Coyote! Mark, I, and Charlie drove to Paso Robles California in approximately 18 hours. We stayed three glorious days and drove home within the sametime frame. While we were there, we got to see Hearst Castle, visited San Luis Obispo, saw the ocean and tons of beached Sea creatures, ate amazing food, drank amazing coffee, visited a couple of thrift stores, art galleries, and was surprised to find a outdoor vending machine full of specialty meats and cheeses. We purchased a cheese that was literally black all the way through. It was so good and tasty. It had a wonderful lemon taste to it and was very mild. Our Airbnb was located on a Vineyard.
