Happy times TWO

Sunday, we spent the evening celebrating my mom's and sister-in-law's birthday! I live for the days when the whole clan gets together, especially now since I am not the only one with kido's. My parents house is so relaxing. Their yard is always beautiful, the house is clean and open for the kids to run, the diapers are stocked (just in case we forget ours), the yard is fenced, the play toy is huge, and the daycare is a good space for the kids to get away from the boring adults;) Granny is the best. She took Valerie to Watson's and got flowers for both Valerie and Ethan to plant. She is so patient with them. She loves them so sweetly. Valerie made Granny a card that said "The Strongest thing is (outside), A Grandmother's love (inside). Regardless of the snake that she drew on the inside of the card, it was very full of truth. It is truly how my kids feel about my mom and dad. Aren't these two little guys so handsome? I am one lucky auntie!Happy Birthday to ...

Days

I love having 7 days off from my job. I get to spend time reconnecting with Mark, the kids, and our extended families. I spent Saturday with my mom, sister , and the babies on a train trip to Portland, for a day of rest and relaxation (next time I will NOT forget Charlie's bottle). The golf course has two nice trails, the Soundview and Grandview , that completely surround the golf course and frame the waters of the Puget Sound. It's an absolutely beautiful walking route, and a bit challenging to those that need to get in shape. After enjoying the trail we headed to Trader Joe's to stock up on some fat free bean dip, Better...

Well I had my first gaining week at Weight Watchers. I gained .8lbs this week. Charlie hasn't been breastfeeding as well, so I need to start taking that into consideration when trying to adjust my caloric intake. Being said, I am still pleased with losing 70lbs since January 4 th . We recently joined the YMCA and are having a ball working out, letting the kids run a muck, checking baby into the nursery, and signing up for swimming, gymnastics ( ethan ) and karate (val). I also noticed that they have Zumba classes too. I watched a class yesterday and was impressed with one lady who really knew what she was doing. I really want to join in, but need to [practice on my own DVD Zumba, before I let everyone else see that I don't have a coordinated bone in my body. I have worked out the past two days, and am planning to make that crazy scale work for me next Monday. Charlie is changing everyday. She has her quirks....she likes her Binky only when she sleeps, she likes to sleep wit...
