Days
I love having 7 days off from my job. I get to spend time reconnecting with Mark, the kids, and our extended families. I spent Saturday with my mom, sister, and the babies on a train trip to Portland, for a day of rest and relaxation (next time I will NOT forget Charlie's bottle). Sunday we spent with Mark's mom and dad for mum's day. Thanks to my very attentive husband I received a mucho supremo JU JU BE Packabe and some wonderful drawings and cards from the kids.
Today, Mark, Charlie and I met my sister, Ryan, and Katie at Chambers Bay Golf Course. The location is scheduled to be the site for 2010's US Open. The golf course has two nice trails, the Soundview and Grandview, that completely surround the golf course and frame the waters of the Puget Sound. It's an absolutely beautiful walking route, and a bit challenging to those that need to get in shape. After enjoying the trail we headed to Trader Joe's to stock up on some fat free bean dip, Better Than Butter Peanut Butter, and yummy salads.
I took the kids to the Y tonight for another quick 30 minute workout and an hour long swim. The Y had their water slides open, so Valerie had loads of fun going down them while Ethan and I watched. All in all, another good day off.
Off now to watch Idol kick David Archuleta off.......
