Tooth Fairies Steal!

Image
Day off #4: Finally caught up with my sleep! Today Mark was kind enough to help me clean out my fridge from top to bottom. Luckily we didn't find anything in there that had grown feet. My mom and dad stopped by and took the kids school supply shopping while we ran to Costco for our weekly salad fixings, and formula. We hurried as fast as we could so we had a few spare down minutes without all three chitlins. Having one is such a treat now! I ended up going to Wal's and Fred's for a few other supplies for their school, and now I can rest because it is all finished and packed up for Tuesday morning. Thanks mom, it is such a wonderful treat for me to hand you the list and say "have fun." Dinner was late to the table but it was gone in about 60 seconds. I made my butternut squash "shepherds pie." Everyone here loves it. The recipe is from HG's cookbook. I think you can find it on her website as well. Try it....you'll love it. Cute sayings today: Mom...

Superpowers To The Rescue!

Day off #3: I think this whole posting my days off has made me realize how little my family slows down. We slept till the clock said 0800 and then laid in bed till 0900 playing with Charlie. After 0900 she gets all cranky for her breakfast. Poor thing...you would think we starve her! All 23lbs of her. Yes, that is her current weight. I took her today to the Convenience care to have her ears checked and of course she has an ear infection! We didn't let that slow us down though. We all went down to Milton and walked the Foothills trail all the way to the Safeway in Orting . I loved being out with my family, even though we had to continuously remind the kids about the rules of the road...or trails. It was perfect walking weather. I hope everyone is up to the hike on Monday. I guess I need to tell Shanny that I need to borrow the back pack (and pay her my half)! We stopped by and saw Granny. She just got back today from N.D. and wanted to kiss the kids. Kisses, and a few bears later ...

Count Down to the 2nd

Day off #2: Started the day off bright and early with a trip to the eye dr. I decided last week that it would be very embarrassing to have my glasses slide off into a sterile field right in the middle of my C-sections! Plus the fact that I have to wear a mask, so they fog up anyhow. Orientation has been very tiring. I should've just gone to Labor and Delivery two years ago...when I was a tad younger and my pressures could handle it! I love helping deliver babies...nothing is truly greater than watching these little ones come into the world. So I left from my eye appt. with a new pair of contacts! Charlie loved the fact she could see my eyes... We dropped off a little something-something for Katie (my sissy's Boston). She was already out of surgery by 230 pm and doing quite well. I hope the treaters we sent home with her mommy, make her feel better soon. We spent the rest of the day school shopping for Valerie. Uniforms are nice to have but hard to find around here. JCP doesn...

Time Spent

Off Day #1: Watched lil ' Rye-guy. We are getting by with moments of tears, squeaks of joy, a few baby fights, and lots of kisses. He is so different than Charlie, mainly in size!! He is content to sit in my arms and really doesn't like moments on the floor playing with toys. Maybe that's just because I'm the auntie, not the daycare lady. He- hee . Four is actually not so bad. Maybe I should re-think this baby thing and have my tubal reversed....what do you think, Mark? Tonight, we are going to the kid's school to meet their teachers. I can't believe I have a fourth grader...she is growing up so fast.

Bad to the Core!

On the Core now... Lost 3.4 lbs. this week. Total wt. loss 54.6 (84.6 ttl A.B.) Enough said!

Monday, Monday

Image
I usually start to feel energetic after my work week, around Monday. My cleaning lady is at the house on Monday's from 0800-1200 so I try and leave so she can clean my house in peace. I stopped by the school and paid a small book fine (which released E-man's report card finally:), visited my grandmother (which she wasn't there because she was gone doing her Remicaid treatment) and grandfather, let the kids pic raspberries and blackberries, visited with my mom, and went to weight watchers. Here's a couple pics at Grandpa Gigi's house. You can see their old blue house in the background picture of Val and Ethan in the berry patch. Fond memories.... The scale is still not budging enough so I have switched this week to the "core" plan. I am really excited about not having to chart everything and eating till I get satisfied, so I may never go back to the flex plan. I tried quinoa for the first time. Yummy. My sister went to Texas for a meeting last week, and b...

Inspiration

Image
Spent the earlier part of the morning watching my sister compete in the Danskin Triathalon in Seattle today. She amazes me constantly with her endurance and drive. She is so dedicated to these events. She truly does inspire me to "want" that endurance, and experience in my own life. Way to go, GIRL. I think I even made the mistake of saying I would compete next year with her and my mom...OOPS:) Decided to play around with my camera last night, and realized that it takes black and white, sepia, portraits, sports setting and tons of other features. I have had this camera for a year and a half, so you would think I would know what it could do. So here are a couple I took last night. I love this one of Ethan, minus the dinner that was still on his face:)

Paranoid

Okay so they posted the photo's, and she isn't in any one of the 25 posted. Now my mind has jumped, leaped, swam, danced around several horrible scenerio's. I am definately my mother's daughter. Should I email the camp again to make sure she is still there? I think this "letting go" stuff is for the birds....

D#3 W/O Val

Checked the website again for the 10th time....no daily photo's available! Emailed the camp to find out when the photo's will be available. Waiting, waiting, waiting~

Saying Goodbye

This was the scene when I left my daughter, for a whole week of camp, today. She looks extremely heartbroken that I am leaving her, huh? I have a hard time letting go! Maybe this will help both of us. Now for a week of worrying....

Beach No.2

Beachin in Forks

Spur of the moment trip to Forks Wa with Mark's parents turned into loads of fun. We caravan ed down together with his sister, brother in law, their kids, and his parents. We spent two days at the beach, stayed the night in a hotel, and went to the midnight release party for Stephenie Meyer's fourth book, Breaking Dawn. Valerie is my water girl. The first thing she did when we finished our hike into Realto , was strip and run for the waves. It's funny because these pics were taken the same day. Charlie was bundled in her winter jacket, and Val is running through the waves with only her bathing suit. Oh well...we had a blast. We came back wet, dirty, and relaxed. When I looked back at our pics from this weekend, I can see a huge difference in Mark since his 20lb weight loss:) For some reason though, I continue to wear big sweatshirts so you can't really see the difference quite yet. Tonight I hit my 50lb goal with WW, which combined with my weight loss before WW is...

And the Little One Said, "Roll Over!"

We don't see these moves out of my daughter too often, since laying on her stomach is something she hates, but I caught all these moves with perfect timing! Look at her growing up, way too fast!
