Tooth Fairies Steal!
Day off #4:
Finally caught up with my sleep! Today Mark was kind enough to help me clean out my fridge from top to bottom. Luckily we didn't find anything in there that had grown feet. My mom and dad stopped by and took the kids school supply shopping while we ran to Costco for our weekly salad fixings, and formula. We hurried as fast as we could so we had a few spare down minutes without all three chitlins. Having one is such a treat now! I ended up going to Wal's and Fred's for a few other supplies for their school, and now I can rest because it is all finished and packed up for Tuesday morning. Thanks mom, it is such a wonderful treat for me to hand you the list and say "have fun."
Dinner was late to the table but it was gone in about 60 seconds. I made my butternut squash "shepherds pie." Everyone here loves it. The recipe is from HG's cookbook. I think you can find it on her website as well. Try it....you'll love it.
Cute sayings today:
Mom: Ethan did the tooth fairy come for your tooth, or is she still on vacation?
Ethan (he runs back into the kitchen after checking under his pillow): Mom, the tooth fairy only left me pennies for my tooth.
Mom: Oh (not sure where the pennies came from), I'm sure she thought it was so pretty that she took it back to show the other fairies, and will collect more money from the rest of them and give it to you tonight.
Ethan: That's good because I brushed that tooth everyday, and it was really shiny. I should get more money for it since I brushed it everyday.
