Monday, Monday

I usually start to feel energetic after my work week, around Monday. My cleaning lady is at the house on Monday's from 0800-1200 so I try and leave so she can clean my house in peace. I stopped by the school and paid a small book fine (which released E-man's report card finally:), visited my grandmother (which she wasn't there because she was gone doing her Remicaid treatment) and grandfather, let the kids pic raspberries and blackberries, visited with my mom, and went to weight watchers. Here's a couple pics at Grandpa Gigi's house. You can see their old blue house in the background picture of Val and Ethan in the berry patch. Fond memories....

The scale is still not budging enough so I have switched this week to the "core" plan. I am really excited about not having to chart everything and eating till I get satisfied, so I may never go back to the flex plan. I tried quinoa for the first time. Yummy.

My sister went to Texas for a meeting last week, and bought me this awesome Brighton "sisters" bracelet. I love it. I'm so glad that we finally live close enough to build a relationship, and really be there for each other. Sister's and families for that matter so never loose touch. Put your differences aside...and learn to love one another. What a waste of a life if it doesn't include family! No difference or dispute is worth wasting years over. I am truly blessed to have a awesome family that totally connects, and yes sometimes drives each other crazy. We still love each other though!
