May I Please?

We are so fortunate to have everyone in the same house this year! Because we aren't so busy running from house to house we've had more time chatting, enjoying each other, and have a few moments to spare to ourselves. The Beach is a few blocks away and the kids have been there everyday!!! Charlie has taking a liking to nearly everyone and has somehow through the course of the weekend made $4.00, which she calls her "money roll." We even have a buyer for her in case we are looking to sell;) Valerie and Victoria are inseparable and have had a great time goofing around. Ethan and little Curt hit it off so they are hanging out except for the times that Ethan has been down at the Beach with Vicky! She loves him and said that he is the sweetest boy ever! He sure is! My kids have been awesome and this trip has been wonderful....

Breakfast in the morning, cleaning, winners announced, and distribution of trophy's is all that's left. Hate goodbyes!!!

Monday, when we got back from our anniversary trip, found a note on the counter that read: Suzanne called. Play group. Tuesday at 830am. Who would schedule a playgroup so early? Doesn't anyone sleep in? Let the kids find their own breakfast, and stay under the covers till they beg for lunch? Well, you know heat here in the summers, ranging around the 100's, makes us southerners wake up early in the a.m. to do the things we enjoy. When noon rolls around, we hull up in our homes, doors tightly shut, curtains drawn, trying to escape the BIG BAD (the sun appropriately named, right Spike?)! I guess that was not in the cards for us today! We spent the early morning hours playing at the park with pretty much everyone from Journey! Unfortunately around 10 a.m. the heat found us and forced us to retreat to Suzanne's house for some relief! My latest obsessions….puzzling The week after Coyote made a surprise visit! It’s been awhile since I posted! I was just looking back on some posts and giggled so I think it is important to continue since posts tell the story of my life. These pictures were from our latest venture to Paso Robles to see Coyote! Mark, I, and Charlie drove to Paso Robles California in approximately 18 hours. We stayed three glorious days and drove home within the sametime frame. While we were there, we got to see Hearst Castle, visited San Luis Obispo, saw the ocean and tons of beached Sea creatures, ate amazing food, drank amazing coffee, visited a couple of thrift stores, art galleries, and was surprised to find a outdoor vending machine full of specialty meats and cheeses. We purchased a cheese that was literally black all the way through. It was so good and tasty. It had a wonderful lemon taste to it and was very mild. Our Airbnb was located on a Vineyard.
