Iron Creek

Mark had planned to dedicate 36 hours to writing and working on his next book which is being co authored with his friend Chris, so I decided to take the kids camping for a night instead of trying my best to keep everyone quiet at the house. Charlie told everyone that he was on a "book signing." Oh how I wish! We went to Iron Creek Campground up in Randle Wa. Pretty far to drive but I didn't care since I got to enjoy driving "Carrie" (long A). Charlie name our new Honda Oddessey. She loves our new car and actually wakes up, goes to the garage, and says "good morning" to her. She will get a post later though so no pictures yet.

My sister's family actually planned the trip we just mooch off their plans slightly! The kids had so much fun riding bikes, roasting mellows, and being goofy. Charlie lost her first tooth (although we don't know where it went) and Val taught her to ride a bike, and she was crushing after a few attempts! Awesome. We took the training wheels off her bike too! Lanie and Ryan are a blast. They says the cutest things! Great ages, don't want them to ever grow up.

We explored a cave too. A lot of fun was had in a few short hours. Valerie almost put up the whole tent by herself. I made a fire by myself. Ethan made a new friend, Isaiah.
