Hello SIX
My littlest person, my little princess, turned a not so little, 6 today. Amazing how time has created a beautifully, intelligent, creative, and delightfully precious person for us to enjoy day in and day out. She's always making us laugh, and causing strangers to smile (just by glimpsing at those beautiful larger than life baby BLUE eyes). She's one of a kind and today she was treated to a birthday surprise by Grandma Nagel- a trip to Build A Bear. She is into My Little Pony (for the past three years actually) so naturally she chose Rainbow Dash as her unstuffed choice! She had loads of fun helping stuff Flyie (what she named him), kissing his heart, praying for him, jumping up and down to give him enough energy, and finally washing him up so that he can be the most beautiful and brightest he will ever be. Lots of love went into him.
After we paid, she also got a Gymboree outfit for me, and lunch from grams. Valerie came with and shared fond memories of her trips to build a bear with Grandma. I couldn't find her picture though;(
We finished the end of our day by picking up the birthday cupcakes and getting a haircut at Great Clips. The stylist was so taken with Charlie that she gave her extra shampooing time, and even French braided her hair after taking off a couple of inches of split ends. Ethan also received one of the best cuts he's had in awhile! Valerie's appointment was earlier in the day at Pepper's Salon. I one happy mamma when all my kids' hair looks good!!
We had a great, busy, fun day!
