Lazy Sunday

Jason and Chris invited us to a Raniers game! Thanks to Jason's work we got free entrance, free parking, free beer, alcohol, Pepsi, water, popcorn, peanuts, and pretzels. We were granted access to the Summit Club throughout the whole game. It was awesome. Our seats down below were in 96% weather on the first baseline, but around the 7th inning we ditched them and headed up to the club level. Club level was out of the sun, and out of the way of fly balls! We had a great time with them and wish we could spend more time with them again soon. We will have to plan on the boys (Seth and Ethan) meeting since they are the same exact age!

After we got home we rounded the kids up (we have an extra again--Brandi) and took them over to Jers pool for some fun. We are hot dogs and the kids swam while the adults searched for their spirit animals. Jer  and I will have sore arms tomorrow because we swung the jump rope for the kids for quite a few times. Jaxon and Charlie learned how to jump in when the rope is already turning, Charlie jumped 35+ times in a row, and the older kids jumped three at a time!!!! Awesome family time. Never a dull minute when are kids get together!

Prescription for Peace and Popsicles

Monday, when we got back from our anniversary trip, found a note on the counter that read: Suzanne called. Play group. Tuesday at 830am. Who would schedule a playgroup so early? Doesn't anyone sleep in? Let the kids find their own breakfast, and stay under the covers till they beg for lunch? Well, you know heat here in the summers, ranging around the 100's, makes us southerners wake up early in the a.m. to do the things we enjoy. When noon rolls around, we hull up in our homes, doors tightly shut, curtains drawn, trying to escape the BIG BAD (the sun appropriately named, right Spike?)! I guess that was not in the cards for us today! We spent the early morning hours playing at the park with pretty much everyone from Journey! Unfortunately around 10 a.m. the heat found us and forced us to retreat to Suzanne's house for some relief! My latest obsessions….puzzling The week after Coyote made a surprise visit! It’s been awhile since I posted! I was just looking back on some posts and giggled so I think it is important to continue since posts tell the story of my life. These pictures were from our latest venture to Paso Robles to see Coyote! Mark, I, and Charlie drove to Paso Robles California in approximately 18 hours. We stayed three glorious days and drove home within the sametime frame. While we were there, we got to see Hearst Castle, visited San Luis Obispo, saw the ocean and tons of beached Sea creatures, ate amazing food, drank amazing coffee, visited a couple of thrift stores, art galleries, and was surprised to find a outdoor vending machine full of specialty meats and cheeses. We purchased a cheese that was literally black all the way through. It was so good and tasty. It had a wonderful lemon taste to it and was very mild. Our Airbnb was located on a Vineyard.
