Cousins Rock

        Thank goodness she has cousins! She loves having sleepovers with them and we have sworn off sleepovers with anyone but the Cousins. She loves each of her cousins and they all get along so well when we have them over. Kylee still hasn't had a night over without crying to see her daddy but she is getting better. I love that our kids our such great friends. Kylee came with us to one of Ethan's soccer game, and then Saturday we got to see Ryan play in his soccer
game. The little ones learning new skills is such a fun thing to see. Ryan is doing great and his season is undefeated! Great Job, Kings! 

Yesterday we went to the Wegleys for Mumz Day. We
Didn't know the Boyetts were going to be there so it was a nice surprise. Charlie loves playing with Andie. They go into Grandma's back bed and talk, sing, and share secrets--so cute! 

My week off has been very busy so far:
We got the window on our van fixed, prepped Val for her AP test, went to muffins for mom, watched Ethan's last soccer game, had Valerie's friend Brandi over for two days, watched Ryan's soccer game, saw the Cortez's new house, had Lanie over for a night, went to the Wegleys, rearranged Charlie's bedroom (per her request), watched a movie, planted the garden, Mark cut down the blackberry fences, watered front and back, and now we are watching the nightly Jeopardy segment. I still have two days off...and they are already booked! 
 
   Found this little gem....couldn't find any pictures with me and my mom for some reason. My mom is awesome, sweet, and the best there is! For Mumz Day Shannon and I bought her a Ancestry DNA test! Hope she loves it!

Monday, when we got back from our anniversary trip, found a note on the counter that read: Suzanne called. Play group. Tuesday at 830am. Who would schedule a playgroup so early? Doesn't anyone sleep in? Let the kids find their own breakfast, and stay under the covers till they beg for lunch? Well, you know heat here in the summers, ranging around the 100's, makes us southerners wake up early in the a.m. to do the things we enjoy. When noon rolls around, we hull up in our homes, doors tightly shut, curtains drawn, trying to escape the BIG BAD (the sun appropriately named, right Spike?)! I guess that was not in the cards for us today! We spent the early morning hours playing at the park with pretty much everyone from Journey! Unfortunately around 10 a.m. the heat found us and forced us to retreat to Suzanne's house for some relief! My latest obsessions….puzzling The week after Coyote made a surprise visit! It’s been awhile since I posted! I was just looking back on some posts and giggled so I think it is important to continue since posts tell the story of my life. These pictures were from our latest venture to Paso Robles to see Coyote! Mark, I, and Charlie drove to Paso Robles California in approximately 18 hours. We stayed three glorious days and drove home within the sametime frame. While we were there, we got to see Hearst Castle, visited San Luis Obispo, saw the ocean and tons of beached Sea creatures, ate amazing food, drank amazing coffee, visited a couple of thrift stores, art galleries, and was surprised to find a outdoor vending machine full of specialty meats and cheeses. We purchased a cheese that was literally black all the way through. It was so good and tasty. It had a wonderful lemon taste to it and was very mild. Our Airbnb was located on a Vineyard.
