When I write posts I seriously don't include every picture I take. These are just a small portion of them. We finished the second day with the Slaughters in Vancouver. My pedometer closed nearly 14000 steps that day. We walked all over Stanley Park and visited the Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge. The views from the bridge were beautiful but we had a ton of fun crossing the river to Geocache (thank goodness Chris helped me across-I was worried that my phone would get wet) and hiking up to where they cliff jump off the rocks into the water below. I think by the end of the weekend we had found 18-19 caches. 

Chris and Kourtney are gone now. This past Thursday-Friday we had our last adventures together. We took the kids Geocahing in DuPont and did the Paul Bunyon cache series and went to the Bite of Seattle. At
The Bite we ate:
Alligator on a stick
Potato and Cheese pierogi 
Fried Octopus 
Bacon wrapped jalepeno poppers
Mako shark jerky
Python jerky
Lebanese garlic fries
Poki rice bowl
Chicken strips
Bibimap taco
Spam sushi
Egg rolls

We all four pretty much shared everything! It was yummy food. I was disappointed that more weren't involved in having a Bite at every booth. Apparently because some of the vendors are small, they are not required to have Bites for sale.

The day after, on Saturday, when I went to pick up pumpkin from camp, Mark and Chris hung out in Tukwilla and found 23 more geocaches! I made yummy chili from Remlinger Farms, washed my baby from head to toe and then took a nap with her for two hours! It was heaven!!!!!

Prescription for Peace and Popsicles

Monday, when we got back from our anniversary trip, found a note on the counter that read: Suzanne called. Play group. Tuesday at 830am. Who would schedule a playgroup so early? Doesn't anyone sleep in? Let the kids find their own breakfast, and stay under the covers till they beg for lunch? Well, you know heat here in the summers, ranging around the 100's, makes us southerners wake up early in the a.m. to do the things we enjoy. When noon rolls around, we hull up in our homes, doors tightly shut, curtains drawn, trying to escape the BIG BAD (the sun appropriately named, right Spike?)! I guess that was not in the cards for us today! We spent the early morning hours playing at the park with pretty much everyone from Journey! Unfortunately around 10 a.m. the heat found us and forced us to retreat to Suzanne's house for some relief! My latest obsessions….puzzling The week after Coyote made a surprise visit! It’s been awhile since I posted! I was just looking back on some posts and giggled so I think it is important to continue since posts tell the story of my life. These pictures were from our latest venture to Paso Robles to see Coyote! Mark, I, and Charlie drove to Paso Robles California in approximately 18 hours. We stayed three glorious days and drove home within the sametime frame. While we were there, we got to see Hearst Castle, visited San Luis Obispo, saw the ocean and tons of beached Sea creatures, ate amazing food, drank amazing coffee, visited a couple of thrift stores, art galleries, and was surprised to find a outdoor vending machine full of specialty meats and cheeses. We purchased a cheese that was literally black all the way through. It was so good and tasty. It had a wonderful lemon taste to it and was very mild. Our Airbnb was located on a Vineyard.
