Update on the Little Things in Life

I have nothing to blog about. The coldness of fall has set in and we have been pretty slow the last week. Work was incredibley hard last week and I am having a hard time on concentrating on anything else. However my google task list doesn't ever stop so we had to move along and get some stuff done! I try every month to keep decorating our room. One day it will get done. Last month Mark put the mirror on the wall and rearranged some furniture. This month I painted the table legs to the marble rock table that Mark's Grandmother made years ago. It turned out beautiful. Now I just need to decorate it. Here's a couple of ideas from Pinterest:
Valerie and Ethan made it through the quarter at school. Ethan learned after a week and a half of sitting at the table from the time he got home till bed that WE aren't playing anymore. I looked at his grades online and he is finally done with every missing assignment and he has all B's and one C+! Awesome. He feels relieved, less stressed, and received a good weekly pay for his grades. Valerie has been so busy with work, volunteering, job shadows, and completing college applications that she is so busy. Charlie is doing great and is no longer experiencing headaches after she started wearing her glasses this week. Every night they came home with her, and were tucked neatly in her glasses case! SUCCESS! She did choose the teal over the bright pink but she still looks amazing in them. Today is pay day for her...unfortunately she only completed $2 worth of work...YIKES. She doesn't have much of a push to do it. She needs a goal and something that she wants that I won't buy for her. I will have to think about this. The kids have been so excited about a coupon book I purchased years ago. It has coupons that give the kids some cool things. Last night Ethan purchased himself a free "no bedtime" night and a large root beer float! Tonight Charlie is turning in her coupon for a "campout in the family room." Should be sooooo comfortable.

Oh we got frames for Mark's pictures! When H&A moved houses they gave me the pictures Mark drew for them when he was 18. They are beautiful pictures. They now will hang on our wall till we get old!

Lastly I signed up to be a strong mamma. I want it! I want to feel comfortable in my own body, and I want to be healthy for me, Mark and the kids!
