The Burke
What a great week! It flew by. Charlie is feeling better and we aren't stressed about her health at this time. She is back to eating, drinking, and being a finicky eater. I spent Thursday-Friday relaxing without a list of things to do. Although I feel lazy because of it, I needed it.

I have plans to workout but somehow I find every reason to NOT. Anything such as I might look weird doing it and I don't want Mark to walk in, I'm so uncoordinated and can't do the required workouts, I'm not in a gym so it wouldn't do anything for me anyhow, I don't have a foam roller, I don't have a space, I'm doing great with the diet and why slow progress, I don't have a cute workout outfit, and many others! I haven't broken through these barriers. I will. I know I will, it's just taking me longer than others in my Strong Mommas group. I've been doing this for a week and a half and have lost lost lost on the scale. I'm about ready to throw it away because I think it's not working right...Mark reassures me it is! Big changes have been drinking Decaf Green tea, decreasing my Diet Coke to just 1-2 a day, eating only at meals, water, proteins and produce at every meal. I have cheated 4 times in a week and a half. By cheat I mean I chose rice x3, and frozen yogurt the other time. My favorite treat for snack is an apple with almond butter (fresh from Winco)! The almond butter is amazing! I also made porkchops the other day that were the bomb. While we cooked Charlie played with the timer on my phone and would take pictures of all of us after telling us key words to act out.

Yesterday we took the kids to the Burke Museum since we have a free membership for a year. It was okay, but will probably be better once they get the new building. It was fun though and good to get the kids out of the house. We had to force Ethan out of the house but when we stopped at The Shwarma King for dinner he was glad he did! The campus was full of Huskies fans going to the game. Luckily we got free parking on campus because we were going to the museum.
