Pajama Day

Saturday we decided to lay low with the kids and wanted to start a new tradition. We decided to go out as a family and find our own PJs and then use them before Christmas. It was trying at times to find 5 people pj's in a mall packed with Christmas shoppers, but we did! We all love our jammas that we chose. Mark's pj shirt even has a Gryffindor Crest! It's approprite since we are climbing our way through the Harry Potter Series again! After we found our pj's we headed back home, got in our new jams and watched movie 3&4 in the HP series!

I love my kids! They are so fun to be around.

PS Ethan is not pictured here because he left us after buying jammas and went to his friend's house.

we always had a present to open the evening of Christmas. It was new sweats to wear to bed and then for the next morning. It always went well.

His eye isn't any better. We switched medication and he went and saw another Dr yesterday. 2 dr's saw him and still are baffled. They told him to stop the drops and use preservative free artificial eyes. Are you coming home before Christmas?

no we will be after Christmas and most likely after the first of the year. We haven't put a tree up since 2008. Since Tina left South Carolina. Next year I want a dang tree. lol How is his eye now with the new stuff?

Monday, when we got back from our anniversary trip, found a note on the counter that read: Suzanne called. Play group. Tuesday at 830am. Who would schedule a playgroup so early? Doesn't anyone sleep in? Let the kids find their own breakfast, and stay under the covers till they beg for lunch? Well, you know heat here in the summers, ranging around the 100's, makes us southerners wake up early in the a.m. to do the things we enjoy. When noon rolls around, we hull up in our homes, doors tightly shut, curtains drawn, trying to escape the BIG BAD (the sun appropriately named, right Spike?)! I guess that was not in the cards for us today! We spent the early morning hours playing at the park with pretty much everyone from Journey! Unfortunately around 10 a.m. the heat found us and forced us to retreat to Suzanne's house for some relief! My latest obsessions….puzzling The week after Coyote made a surprise visit! It’s been awhile since I posted! I was just looking back on some posts and giggled so I think it is important to continue since posts tell the story of my life. These pictures were from our latest venture to Paso Robles to see Coyote! Mark, I, and Charlie drove to Paso Robles California in approximately 18 hours. We stayed three glorious days and drove home within the sametime frame. While we were there, we got to see Hearst Castle, visited San Luis Obispo, saw the ocean and tons of beached Sea creatures, ate amazing food, drank amazing coffee, visited a couple of thrift stores, art galleries, and was surprised to find a outdoor vending machine full of specialty meats and cheeses. We purchased a cheese that was literally black all the way through. It was so good and tasty. It had a wonderful lemon taste to it and was very mild. Our Airbnb was located on a Vineyard.
