Charlie is on my phone a lot. I should know by now where all my battery life goes...to the Snapchat App! I love getting these though. They are creative, hilarious, and usually disappears from the app (which doesn't use my data) if I don't save them. She is definately a child of this generation because she is very into taking pictures of herself. My favorite from the group is actually mine at the bottom. It totally depicts what I've been doing lately. Sleeping. Resting. Trying to drowned out the pain. 

 
 
 
   Birthday Party at Moctezuma's and a Tea Party


Lexie is Charlie's best friend. She is the sweetest girl. Charlie was able to participate in Lexie's second birthday surprise party at Moctezuma's on Saturday. We were invited by her Dads to their family and close friends party. It was fun watching the girls get so silly. Of course the girls tried to sneak in one last get together this weekend with promises of a Tea Party the next day. Trevor, Lexi's dad was a wonderful host and set them up for a wonderfully thought out tea party complete with ice box cucumber sandwiches,
Tea, and cookies. He even made them a Mindcraft Fire 🔥. He was so creative and made it out of tissue paper. It was a perfect way to end the weekend for her. 

Valerie is back home from her busy weekend. She attended a conference at SPU, met with another Judge from Seattle, stayed the night at Megan's, and had a mall date with Braeden the boy she asked to prom!
 
 
Ethan enjoyed his weekend at home 🏡 I forgot that he did go to the Sounders game in Friday night!
 

My shingles update...ouch but getting so much better!

Prescription for Peace and Popsicles

Monday, when we got back from our anniversary trip, found a note on the counter that read: Suzanne called. Play group. Tuesday at 830am. Who would schedule a playgroup so early? Doesn't anyone sleep in? Let the kids find their own breakfast, and stay under the covers till they beg for lunch? Well, you know heat here in the summers, ranging around the 100's, makes us southerners wake up early in the a.m. to do the things we enjoy. When noon rolls around, we hull up in our homes, doors tightly shut, curtains drawn, trying to escape the BIG BAD (the sun appropriately named, right Spike?)! I guess that was not in the cards for us today! We spent the early morning hours playing at the park with pretty much everyone from Journey! Unfortunately around 10 a.m. the heat found us and forced us to retreat to Suzanne's house for some relief! My latest obsessions….puzzling The week after Coyote made a surprise visit! It’s been awhile since I posted! I was just looking back on some posts and giggled so I think it is important to continue since posts tell the story of my life. These pictures were from our latest venture to Paso Robles to see Coyote! Mark, I, and Charlie drove to Paso Robles California in approximately 18 hours. We stayed three glorious days and drove home within the sametime frame. While we were there, we got to see Hearst Castle, visited San Luis Obispo, saw the ocean and tons of beached Sea creatures, ate amazing food, drank amazing coffee, visited a couple of thrift stores, art galleries, and was surprised to find a outdoor vending machine full of specialty meats and cheeses. We purchased a cheese that was literally black all the way through. It was so good and tasty. It had a wonderful lemon taste to it and was very mild. Our Airbnb was located on a Vineyard.
