Week at a Glance
The week flew by and on Wednesdays I either feel like I accomplished what I needed too or I feel frustrated with myself for not doing more. Today I feel like I accomplished stuff. On this roatation off I:

Thursday-shopped for college course books and clothes to get Val ready for Monday. Placed our table on Offer Up and sold it pretty much the same day! Saving those $$'s for the piano movers next rotation. Took Charlie to Piano and Ethan had soccer practice.
Friday-made super yummy beef enchiladas and had a movie night with the kids! Guardians of the Galaxy 2 was just as good as the first.
Saturday- helped my In-laws set up Mark's old table that his parents gave us! I love everything about this table and have been sitting here on this end spot for quite a few hours each day helping Ethan and Charlie with their homework and waiting for the dinner to be done cooking, oh and for coffee and cross stitching in the mornings! I feel very blessed to have been given this treasure and will cherish it forever!!! Now I know how my mom feels with her stove! We had pizza with his folks and then they took Charlie over to Andie's house for a sleepover. We finished the night off with the kids and hit the hay early because we were leaving bright and early in the morning for Mattawa.
Sunday- We got up at the crack of dawn, or actually before, and drove to Mattawa Washington for Ethan's soccer game. It was a beautiful drive and absolutely gorgeous views from the soccer fields (vineyards to the right, and the Valley straight across the field). Ethan scored the first team and individual goal (with exception of a penalty kick earlier in the season) and was overly excited about it (some dancing and maybe a couple words were said in the excitement of it all)! The guys really held them the first half and the last half they were exhausted and refused to hustle and apply pressure in the rest of the game.
Monday- Big day! Valerie headed off to college for the first time ever! I got up and got everyone off to school, made breakfast in bed for Val, crossstitched a bit at the table, then started in on my 100 inches tablecloth. I pulled out the sewing machine and even the iron and worked until I had a reversible tablecloth for our new (old) table. I even embroidered some leaves on it. We had lots of coming and goings that day. Val had a late class, Charlie had piano, and Ethan had soccer. I made dinner and we ate around 9p and watched the Good Doctor premier on NBC at 10p.
Tuesday- Mark and I spent time together! Soccer meeting with the parents at 7p, then a drove down to my sister's house to watch "This is Us" premier! We watched it on her TV that was full of static and could barely make out who was on screen. Her bedroom TV had no sound and neither one of us could figure that out. It was good to see her though.
Wednesday-Grocery Shopped, did laundry, relaxed, and made dinner, and filled out the calendar for October.
Okay it doesn't sound like I did a lot but I still feel like I did.
One of my favorite meals this week. Speghetti with basil pesto sauce (butter, garlic, onion added), some parigianno regiano with an runny egg on top! So Yumz!
