I love getting the kids some culture by taking them to the theater 🎭. Nothing is better than live theater, except live theater without so many swear words, and innuendos. Although Charlie heard way too many uses of the English language we did all love this production and the “pay what you can” price. The regular price for this production was 26$ a ticket. The musical took us through quite a few emotions at a time where our country was struggling with the war and drugs! What an extra special treat to be able to meet up with Kat and Jer and the kids for the night.

Love these girls and lovvvve my scarf New Years Day Inspiration Clover and Char The New Year started off amazing. We were able to spend a few hours with our best friends Kourtney and Chris and got to see how big the kids are getting. Naomi looks so grown up and Clover is as pretty and sweet as she has always been. Beautiful children! We miss all of them and are hopeful that one day soon they will be back to share and reside in our tiny piece of the PNW with us.  Ethan had his winter soccer tournament at Stars Soccer  ⚽️ and although they didn’t win it is always fun to watch the boys compete and get rowdy together. The coach has two Ethans on the team so when I walked in the building I could hear him say “crazy Ethan you turn out there.” I caught the coaches eye and just smiled. When he is out there he puts his heart and soul into his movements, which sometimes makes him more energetic than most. Yesterday Charlie turned 10!! Space yay for double digits. I can’t believe she is this old. There is nothing about her that suggests she isn’t though. She has reached her preteen stage for sure and will continue to test her boundaries. She is loads of fun! She has so much energy and can keep up well with her siblings. I was well prepared for her birthday. We planned to just have family but that’s a lot of cake for 5 of us, so I invited mom and dad and his parents to celebrate with us. It was wonderful. We had so much fun and the Wegley’s stayed later and played Jackbox Tv with us. Charlie loves the game but I think she spent more of her time running in place trying to get her steps in before bed. Her new Fitbit was a perfect present. The Nagels got her 100 gel pens and Marks parents got her $25 and a new shirt that matches perfectly with her new Pusheen pants!!!  Her birthday cake was a Pusheen Cat holding a cupcake. Our Christmas was wonderful or so I remember. I accidentally took a Flexeril instead of my blood pressure but that’s okay. Either way it lowered my blood pressure. We chose to go with a Felix Navidad theme for the Wegley’s and host this year. It started out rocky but it got better eventually. I scarcely remember Jeremy’s house (and I only have one picture).
