Current Events

They say to always complete current photos and albums first before you take on that which you haven’t done, archive last! I haven’t written. No excuses, just haven’t felt the need to. We’ve had lots of pictures, outings, and activities to celebrate but I have chosen to enjoy them instead of blogging them. Sometimes life calls for this. We are constantly saying that it’s just been too busy but that is an excuse. I don’t want to make excuses but I do however want to work on giving myself grace, mercy, and forgiveness for not completing things I should do or for not being a perfect person/spouse/mother. I’m a work in progress and luckily I have my whole life to work it out. So I’m blogging the recents before the archives.

Our weekend was full of fun.
-Friday I got to watch my son play soccer in Eatonville. It rained, I was soaked, but extremely blessed to be his cheerleader. He is playing Varsity and doing well. He is my favorite player to watch. He has such enthusiasm, agility, and speed.

-Saturday Charlie and I headed out, got her hair trimmed and braided at the salon and then did a few minutes of clothes shopping. She has a very modest style of which I am completely greatful for. Valerie and Ethan both had homework to do. Later we went to paint a plate and picked up our date day paintings and then went to Lanie’s Birthday Bash. Lots of fun! Charlie got home and wanted to paint Easter eggs so she set up everything and we painted eggs together (we missed painting with Val bc she was at work). She painted her eggs with her favorite BTS band logo, a shark, and a bunny. Ethan painted his with his girlfriends initials, and mark whipped out a garden egg, and anwithin temptation egg. Later that night Chris Came over and chatted with us for a few and then left to go have some much needed bro time in Bellevue with Mark. Everyone stayed up super late so we could chat with him before he and Mark headed out for drinks and lobster ravioli at Joey’s Restaurant in Bellevue. I stayed up until 3am baking treats!

-Sunday I went and picked Mark up at the W Hotel in Bellevue. Beautiful view from his hotel room. Chris gave us the keys because he had to fly home, which the room was ours till 4pm. We stayed a couple of hours just talking, looking at Art books that were provided in the room, and enjoyed some precious moments alone together. Very spontaneous, romantic, and exciting all wrapped up in one. Afterwards we headed home, hung out with the kids and then went to Shannon’s house for Easter! It was a fun weekend!
