I flew Hawaiian 🌺 Airlines there. It didn’t take very long. I had big plans for the plane—to read a whole book—. No such luck. I was distracted by a movie (TAG) and all the yummy Guava Passion beverages they kept bring around. I did end up making it through maybe three chapters. Tina and David picked me up at the airport and the first thing we did was eat at a yummy Hawaiian Diner. I had fresh Poke!!! So much better than Winco’s! After doing a few errands we headed to Tina’s house for some down time. Her house had a pool so we all headed there for some peace and quiet! The view was beautiful! 

Day2- I took an UBER into town and went to the Pesi Conference on High Risk OB. I thoroughly enjoyed the speaker and learned a few things that might just help the unit. My co worker Kim came with as well. For lunch I chose another Poke Bar!! I could definitely live here. The poke is phenomenal. We visited the beach across the street on our lunch break. It was overcrowded but beautiful! I met up with Shannon after the conference at the rental car place and we headed over to Aulani for the rest of my stay. We were invited to the rehearsal dinner that night.

Monday, when we got back from our anniversary trip, found a note on the counter that read: Suzanne called. Play group. Tuesday at 830am. Who would schedule a playgroup so early? Doesn't anyone sleep in? Let the kids find their own breakfast, and stay under the covers till they beg for lunch? Well, you know heat here in the summers, ranging around the 100's, makes us southerners wake up early in the a.m. to do the things we enjoy. When noon rolls around, we hull up in our homes, doors tightly shut, curtains drawn, trying to escape the BIG BAD (the sun appropriately named, right Spike?)! I guess that was not in the cards for us today! We spent the early morning hours playing at the park with pretty much everyone from Journey! Unfortunately around 10 a.m. the heat found us and forced us to retreat to Suzanne's house for some relief! My latest obsessions….puzzling The week after Coyote made a surprise visit! It’s been awhile since I posted! I was just looking back on some posts and giggled so I think it is important to continue since posts tell the story of my life. These pictures were from our latest venture to Paso Robles to see Coyote! Mark, I, and Charlie drove to Paso Robles California in approximately 18 hours. We stayed three glorious days and drove home within the sametime frame. While we were there, we got to see Hearst Castle, visited San Luis Obispo, saw the ocean and tons of beached Sea creatures, ate amazing food, drank amazing coffee, visited a couple of thrift stores, art galleries, and was surprised to find a outdoor vending machine full of specialty meats and cheeses. We purchased a cheese that was literally black all the way through. It was so good and tasty. It had a wonderful lemon taste to it and was very mild. Our Airbnb was located on a Vineyard.
