Just Me!!

  Happy Birthday Charlie! I bought her tickets last August for this concert. It was so hard to keep it a secret but I managed. She thought that the concert was sold out when we talked about it. It turned out to be even better than I expected. We drove up to Seattle for the whole day and played around. We went to the MoPOP (free because we are members) and then ate lunch, went to the Space Needle, and then the main event at The Climate Pledge Arena! I was a fan before but seeing anyone in concert elevates their status on my “care” radar. She is the sweetest person and a amazing artist. Her and her brother compliment each other so well in voice and music. Duckworth, the opening act was pretty good too! It was a day neither one of us will forget.

I have been listening to Jordan Petersen’s advice on life this week and have been using my commute to reflect. So this getaway to a cabin in our beloved Packwood couldn’t have come at a better time. I love the mountains. The smell of the fresh air, snow, and the fire pits bring out the warm snugglies in me. Jordan has brought me to a realization that I have talked about owning a cabin for far too long. I will own a cabin. I will live intentionally in order for that to become a reality. My birthday present was this incredible mid century chair that massages and vibrates! I accepted the charge position at work! I don’t wear these shoes at work…just for this picture. My friend gave them to me because she said they would look “cute” on me.  My baby turned 14…this was her birthday request. We didn’t help her eat this at all🤣🤣 Three years without doing a thing to my hair…cut and colored red! My Valentine! Boba Lust…fun for all! My Valentines Day Gift 💝-wine bar! New mid century wine glass! My son turned 21 🍻 Saw my auntie at the nail salon…they thought she was my mom! My mom is in the hospital…still praying hard her heart to starts behaving so she can go home to dad. My sweet mother.in.law bought me this sweet cup! Valerie had visited a lot this year…I love being with all my adult children….so much fun 🤩 I love this stage of my life. Once my mom gets better hopefully it will be smooth sailings for us for a bit🚢 (cruise is paid off).

Las Vegas baby…here I come! Las Vegas has always been one of my favorite places to go. I love people watching, crazy outfits, beautiful lights/displays, and things to do that are amazing and spectacular. I actually feel bad for those that gamble…they waste so much time in the casino, missing out on the wonderful art, people, and experiences around them. We didn’t spend a dime on gambling…but found a lot of experiences (wish we had more days to experience even more). I love making memories….those are worth every penny I have…especially when Mark is with me.  This vacation was actually education time. I complete 52 hours of online learning in between our moments of fun. I spent time at the airport, the Venetian shops seating, and the room studying. It was very relaxing! I need that…time away from the house (and the list of things I need to do there) to unwind and focus.
