Just Me On Crank...

I didn't say crack....I said crank! I know that it is only three days from Thanksgiving and I have a ton to feel blessed for, but I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed, I guess (that's what Mark calls this). I feel angry inside! Alot of stuff has been brewing inside me lately and for awhile I just push it back down, then every now and then (usually before I start a new work week) I let it consume me. So what is it you say? How about a list, for all you who are considered list lovers !

1. Really ready for a break...to be with family! It always kills me around the holidays.
2. When in laws fail to remember us, unless we are smack dab in front of their faces.
3. When liars get unwarranted family attention.
4. The kids taking their socks off at church, even though we have told them not too.
5. Using our tithe to help a family member...not knowing if others would disapprove.
6. Spending NO quality time with Mark for a couple of weeks.
7. Failing to exercise and take care of myself.
8. Feeling alone with these thoughts.
9. Knowing that --ch will make fun of this post. Hey aren't you suppose to write your feelings in your journal? Well then, leave me be!

I truly am greatful for being "blessed" as George Harris (last and final speaker for financial freedom month at church) would say! Take the list for what it's worth! I will!

Yeah I have some of those things that irritate me too!

People suck! We all need some time to vent and contemplate how we are hurt. Most of the time our "crankiness" comes down to having to deal with other people - but, in the end, we still know that we love them...if only they would quit being idiots!

Take your crank time (I know I'm a part of it too), and take deep, cool, clean breaths...as Roy M. would say, "In with the the pale peach vapors of peace and tranquility, out with the bile green smog of anger and discontenment!"

I had a real cranky day today myself--what fixed it? Exercise. I know you don't want to hear it but you should grab the hubby hold hands and go for a brisk walk together. Doesn't have to be in broad daylight--I love walking at night. You'll feel so much better!

well, you're right only in one way, that I'll post, but it's not to mock you, at least not about being cranky . . . that, as you know me and mornings, is something with which I'm very familiar. I just want to giggle because "crank" **IS** a drug!!! It's a combination of meth & coke! ;-)~ so, you're still saying that you're a druggy. And, "coming down" from being high on crank (and many other drugs) will make you grumpy.

hope you're feeling better. I like "bettybetty"'s advice. It's very true!! Also, as I've told you before, quit worrying what others think of YOU and your actions. You can do what you feel is right and should NEVER have any bad feelings about it, especially because of what others might think. Piss on 'em, it's your life and your choices. Tithing is meant to help others, doesn't mean that it has to be filtereed through a church in order to count.

Hey, I just want to say this one thing. Just when you think that nobody sees your good deeds or unselfishness, and the crank boils over in the pot, someone smiles at you and says "thank you" and it was all worth it.
Tammie told me that she ran into you uptown one day and you and Mark offered up your home for her and Nick to stay in during the month of December, and even though things happen to work out differently for us, I just want to say, thank you so much for you generosity. You guys are diamonds in the ruff. Merry Christmas !!!!
