One of my New Years resolutions was to start taking care of myself. I have started doing that daily by taking my BP medication, getting my nails done, spending more time with friends, purchasing the WW app, and by doing my make up daily.

I have googled how to apply eyeliner and discovered there is a water line/lash line, and found out that when I apply my make up it only takes 26 seconds for all the toxins in the product to enter my blood stream. Amazing and disturbing. So I took a friends advice and switched the bulk of make up to YoungevityYoungevity which contains only all natural, gluten free ingredients. Loving it so far. Even my mascara is free of chemicals and contains Beeswax as its main ingredient. Better than bat poop, which mascara use to contain.

Charlie even was able to enjoy a girls day with my friend Shannon and I. We had a mani/pedi and lunch at The Ram. Great day with good company.

Monday, when we got back from our anniversary trip, found a note on the counter that read: Suzanne called. Play group. Tuesday at 830am. Who would schedule a playgroup so early? Doesn't anyone sleep in? Let the kids find their own breakfast, and stay under the covers till they beg for lunch? Well, you know heat here in the summers, ranging around the 100's, makes us southerners wake up early in the a.m. to do the things we enjoy. When noon rolls around, we hull up in our homes, doors tightly shut, curtains drawn, trying to escape the BIG BAD (the sun appropriately named, right Spike?)! I guess that was not in the cards for us today! We spent the early morning hours playing at the park with pretty much everyone from Journey! Unfortunately around 10 a.m. the heat found us and forced us to retreat to Suzanne's house for some relief! My latest obsessions….puzzling The week after Coyote made a surprise visit! It’s been awhile since I posted! I was just looking back on some posts and giggled so I think it is important to continue since posts tell the story of my life. These pictures were from our latest venture to Paso Robles to see Coyote! Mark, I, and Charlie drove to Paso Robles California in approximately 18 hours. We stayed three glorious days and drove home within the sametime frame. While we were there, we got to see Hearst Castle, visited San Luis Obispo, saw the ocean and tons of beached Sea creatures, ate amazing food, drank amazing coffee, visited a couple of thrift stores, art galleries, and was surprised to find a outdoor vending machine full of specialty meats and cheeses. We purchased a cheese that was literally black all the way through. It was so good and tasty. It had a wonderful lemon taste to it and was very mild. Our Airbnb was located on a Vineyard.
