Car show and Danny Vernon in Sumner proved to be very fun, noisy, and super hot. I saw my favorite Mrs Vicki from work there, and we ran across my Uncle Mike who I haven't seen in awhile so that was a pleasant surprise to the day. My dad wants to buy my Uncle's car but I think my mom might put a bounty on his head if he even comes close to thinking it could be his! Funny watching those two...my mom would never follow through with her threats but my dad seems to think she would! As it should be!!

Danny was a nice change of music from what pipes in the car speakers lately. Our 15 year old thinks she's introducing us to new music, but The Beastie Boys and Blue Suede have been around forever! Because of Mark I can actually talk music with her. "Sure I know the Beastie Boys and Salt n Pepper!" Can't wait for our family to watch Linkin Park together in September!

We caught lunch at Pick Quick and the home for some R and R!

Monday, when we got back from our anniversary trip, found a note on the counter that read: Suzanne called. Play group. Tuesday at 830am. Who would schedule a playgroup so early? Doesn't anyone sleep in? Let the kids find their own breakfast, and stay under the covers till they beg for lunch? Well, you know heat here in the summers, ranging around the 100's, makes us southerners wake up early in the a.m. to do the things we enjoy. When noon rolls around, we hull up in our homes, doors tightly shut, curtains drawn, trying to escape the BIG BAD (the sun appropriately named, right Spike?)! I guess that was not in the cards for us today! We spent the early morning hours playing at the park with pretty much everyone from Journey! Unfortunately around 10 a.m. the heat found us and forced us to retreat to Suzanne's house for some relief! My latest obsessions….puzzling The week after Coyote made a surprise visit! It’s been awhile since I posted! I was just looking back on some posts and giggled so I think it is important to continue since posts tell the story of my life. These pictures were from our latest venture to Paso Robles to see Coyote! Mark, I, and Charlie drove to Paso Robles California in approximately 18 hours. We stayed three glorious days and drove home within the sametime frame. While we were there, we got to see Hearst Castle, visited San Luis Obispo, saw the ocean and tons of beached Sea creatures, ate amazing food, drank amazing coffee, visited a couple of thrift stores, art galleries, and was surprised to find a outdoor vending machine full of specialty meats and cheeses. We purchased a cheese that was literally black all the way through. It was so good and tasty. It had a wonderful lemon taste to it and was very mild. Our Airbnb was located on a Vineyard.
