They're Back

Charlie told us Monday that the kids could stay at camp forever. She told us she wasn't going to miss them at all! Tuesday came and boy it only took her a day to say to me, "mom when are the kids coming home?" She missed them. I never realized how much they kept her entertained.

We drove to Carnation to pick them up today. They were all packed up, ready to go, and excited to see their sister. It's so heartwarming to witness the bond between kids. We bought Charlie a tube, because both of the kids had one. She wore it the rest of the day. Most of the time she wore it like a little Muslim girl, it was so cute on her. The kids loved High School Camp. Less structure, more free time, and they got to float the river! They each received three packages and got to spin the wheel of misfortune three times each. Valerie and Ethan won cabin sleep night in the covered wagon and the Polar Plunge! It
truly is their favorite part about camp, so thank you to those of you who made it special for them. Valerie and her camp counselor both said that they had an awesome group of girls. Everyone got along, and she made a new BFF with a Ukrainian girl who is probably a foot taller than herself.

After we picked them up we headed to Monroe Reptile Zoo, and then to the Outlets by the Casino! We all got some clothes, and Charlie
Was pleased as punch with her Frozen figurines!
