Mental Health Day

Charlie wanted a mom day. A mental health day spent with just her and I. How could I refuse that request? She has had great attendance this year so I felt that one day off to reconnect after my busy work week was a great idea. Charlie made a list of things she thought we should do during our special day together.

1. Buy a cookie at GSH when we dropped off the chili (made veggie chili for March of Dimes Cookoff)
2. Go shopping at Claire's for earrings
3. Eat Lunch
4. Go see a movie

We did all four plus some! Charlie picked out the largest diamond earrings at Claire's, we ate cookies for breakfast, visited gpa and gma, shopped for Val a bit, returned Ethan's phone to Apple (have to redo that today too-doesn't work), ate lunch at AAA Buffet (her choice) (thanks for the coupon mom), went to Barnes and Noble, and finished the day off watching Zootopia (she begged for a picture by Dead Pool). What a fun day with an incredibly funny girl!

What a fun idea! My kids too begged for a picture with dead pool, which I know absolutely nothing about. So I said sure why not?!
