What Did I Do?
Thursday:

Took pumpkin to geocache, play at the spray park, ate ice cream, went to the library and then home for a first time view of E.T. She loved E.T. and has watched it three times since that first night! She had a blast playing at the spray park but she isn't so keen on playing alone. She misses her bro and sis just a little! Oh and Thursday I helped my brother find a kitchen table!
Friday my sister watched Charlie so Mark and I could have a date night without any kids! It was fun going out to dinner and then coming back to a peaceful house to watch a movie. We went to our favorite Lakewood strip mall and ate at Tacoma Szechuan. First time there. We usually eat inside at the food court, but we wanted to try something different. It was fun! We had the Hot Pot (which we've never had before). Hot Pot: A communal meal, popular in China, wherein diners share a hot bowl of broth or stock into which uncooked foods such as mushrooms, vegetables, and cuts of meat are dipped until they are cooked enough to be eaten. Ours was the Ying and the Yang because one side was super spicy, the other mild. My fortune was so great that I wanted to share it. It is so profound. I made it into a picture!
Saturday Mark took off to Sequim for an overnight golf trip with my brother, after tying up work related loose ends that morning. I got up early and drove with mom to pick up the kids from camp! They got home and I got their laundry started, and cleaned up their camp goods! Charlie went with Shannon hiking, and then to a BBQ. I knew she was exhausted so I went down to Lacey and picked Char up. The kids all decided to come back with me for a sleepover to give Shannon a small break as well. On the way back I got a message from a friend at work that reminded me that I had a wedding in 15 minutes to go too. I missed it! I am soooo bummed because this is a good friend and her wedding is something we've all been excited about for the past year! Mark and Jer had fun! They golfed twice and had a yummy meal!
The Kids harvested my carrots for me! Yay!!
Monday-Playin at Grandmas for the day! Ethan worked at a friends house and made $ 50.00, Valerie and I ran around and did errands. We stopped into McClendons and I found that my swing was finally on sale!!! Hooray. I've been waiting for it to be on sale since the beginning of May. I purchased it, brought it home and then went back and picked up Ethan. I dyed Valerie's hair again, BBQ steak, and gardened. Great night! Ryan absolutely love the steak. All the veggies on the side were from my garden.
Tuesday-My cutie pies volunteered to empty my dishwasher without me asking them too! So sweet. After they made and frosted sugar cookies. Yumm! We pretty much laid low and didn't do much. Valerie cooked dinner and I did the dishes and the laundry! We did spend some time in the voters pamphlet today. Valerie wanted me to vote for all the Democrats but I chose wisely!
