Family Time with a Mission
I love geocaching. Pretty sure I said it before and will say it again. Mark thinks I dream about geocaching but he definitely wrong about that. It has never seeped into my dreams yet! I do love a good find though. We are currently work on a clue series (with pictures of who did it, with what, and where hidden in specific caches) and I would bust it all out in a day if I could. 22 caches to the series. Unfortunately my 2nd favorite geocacher, who now has her own premium account, is at camp so I will have to wait. I did recently take Charlie to a Fear Nothing Geocache and we left without a smiley (meaning we found and signed the log, and logged it in the app) because she refused to walk in a dark drainage ditch. She said she heard sounds and saw a clown 🤡 in there. I was making her go it alone because I didn’t have the correct shoes on for the job. We will go back with some TOTT (tools of the trade) and boots for that one. It’s rare that we walk away without a smiley 😃. When we do cache for a day we always make the kids earn their ice cream by finding at least one cache. It makes it fun and worthwhile.
Out caching after a yummy sushi dinner date with my 👧🏻 . Appropriate to find a cache a block away near this painted electrical box.
Trying out a new Ice Cream joint! We loved the chalkboard and so did the kids. Cute drawings and very much in their own personality styles. Left a trackable in Salem at Western Baptist College for our anniversary. It was my favorite trackable I got from a cache at Geo Headquarters!
Checking McKinley Park for the best place to plant a Geocache!
One fail and lots of smilies! We did however find what Charlie calls “the best ice cream ever!” @Bliss
What you expect to find in a geocaching clue game...TOTT!
We can compete weekly with our friends on the App too. We crushed them this week!
