Changes
There’s a bit of changes that we have undergone. Work in both Mark and I’s job fields. Of course with changes comes adjustments. We haven’t had much time to get away together to see Val. I am Currently headed to see her though. Our 21 year old child! Yes, 21! Weird to think that 21 years ago this tiny little pink bowed baby burst up into this world in her own way, in her own time, and with such drama! She hasn’t stopped her dad and I from smiling from ear to ear. She is driven, motivated, unique, and so full of life. She fights for what she wants, even if it means living on her own for a whole year without her parents and tribe near. She has changed from someone who needed us to a adult who is completely self sufficient. I couldn’t be prouder and extremely sad at the same time. I miss those days of reading to our book monger (literally we had to lay her on her belly to read so her hands couldn’t grab the books to eat them). We collected a series of Sesame Street cardboard books but she ate quite a few of the corners off them. We talked just this morning of our little red coated toddler who would walk around our apartments and wanted to discover everything. She would stay up with us late at night and watch movies, and even saw the Matrix when it came out together. She was our little BFF. We are truly blessed by everyone of our children. I thank the Lord for giving me a partner who is such a perfect compliment to me. If it was just me, I’m pretty sure these kids would go running out of the house the minute they graduated. I’m slightly a helicopter mom. I love my kids with such fervor that I have to be involved. Plus they are so fun to talk too. Ethan is my only sweet soul that hates to be helicoptered (probably not a word). Charlie doesn’t care but in the future she might. Right now she helicopters her dog so pretty sure this will be her parenting type too.

To connect Mark and I started to have coffee on Sundays together. It’s fun. I am suppose to pick the coffee shop this weekend but I am out of town. Maybe we can FT some coffee!

Where my love of the Up and dirty Martini began

First legal drink 🍸 Blueberry Lemon Martini

We are so blessed that she lives by her Auntie. They love her so, and she and Jill are very similar!! They took us out to dinner for her 21st. Michael made her feel special all night by celebrating her birthday by lots of her favorite songs.

I hate goodbyes!

My time in Helena!!! We had so much fun celebrating together. Her 21st only happens once so I had to be there and watch it all unfold!
