Evil doesn't need a number, and apparently wears Prada's!

You could’ve seen me at Hollywood Cinema last night. I sat fourth row back from the front. Second seat in. I was the one with the black hoodie stretched over my head, shielding my eyes from the latest release of The Omen. A friend’s suggestion, backed by “Julia Stiles is your favorite actress” from my husband, persuaded me to see the newly released flick! I wasn’t even conscious of Richard Donner’s 1976 version! I now know there was a reason for that! At least I got to watch the preview for the upcoming movie called “The Devil Wears Prada (What’s Prada though. I’m so not the fashion girl!).” Are we obsessed with all things evil? What was I talking about? Oh right, the movie! Sitting, watching, and ingesting all things evil (mom is shaking her head saying, “I can’t believe she saw that junk, we raised her better”). I came to the conclusion that evil doesn’t need a number! Evil is evil is evil! 666 is just numbers! Chew on that, as you eat rich, salty, buttery popcorn. By the way, why not watch something like “The Omen?” Satan is real. His work is real! He is a scary dude! Americans thrive on scary (refer to Mark’s latest entry). I did hate the movie (who could hurt a little boy like that - - sorry no hints as to the ending)! Even though there was that, I still found that this flick also reveled around the Sacred Book (Remember DaVinci Code). The movie quoted scripture, and even used it as decorative wallpaper (sorry you just have to see to believe -isn’t that always the case)! Hollywood can not let Christians forget how much we don’t know about our Sacred texts. After seeing a movie like that, it makes you want to come home and devour every inch of scripture, hoping to find a morsel that hasn’t been deciphered (then I could make a movie). Honestly though, I hopped in bed with my honey, and cuddled up to the Season Three Finale of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (BVS)! Hey don’t judge! It was graduation day, and Angel (vampire demon with a soul) was poisoned and dying…! She had to save the Demon, after all she loves him! Again with the evil! Although BVS rarely directs you to Scriptures!
