Pay It Forward With A Twist

Jeff over at Notes from the Trail recently blogged an amazing offer of a free magazine subscription to the first four people to comment on his blog! My husband was lucky enough to benefit from Jeff’s generosity, and I have since thought of ways to “pay it forward” to my readers! After much consideration and creative thought I have come up with this exciting offer. (Hold up: before rushing to my comment section please stop and read my friend, Kristi's blog! Trust me, it is all related!)

Now that you’re back, this is the offer! I am giving away a two-year subscription of either Scrapbook Etc. Magazine, or Memory Makers Magazine, to the first three people (commentors) who agree to pledge the specified amount per pound to Kristi for her missions trip. Her goal is 10 lbs! I am offering the first free subscription to the first person that comments here and agrees to pledge $3.00 per lb. toward Kristi’s weight-loss-a-thon. However, you must “act fast,” because if you’re second, the next subscription will go only for a pledge of $3.50 per lb. Once these two are gone, the third interested party can pick up my free offer by pledging $4.00 per lb for Kristi (please note that if you have already pledged something, you still qualify. All you will need to do is increase your total pledge by one of the amounts listed above). Enjoy the subscription for yourself, or give it away as a gift! All I will need is the winners’ addresses! All subscriptions will be finalized after Kristi has completed her weight-loss-a-thon! I can hear you saying to me, “I thought this was supposed to be free!” If you think about it, you are getting a two year subscription for free, and donating money towards missions! What a great combination! Please be advised that this offer is open to anyone, even the lurkers! Let’s have fun supporting this great cause! Okay ladies and gents, let your nimble fingers fly!
