Early Summer Adventures

Ethan showing the boys "his moves!"
They did play fair, and I don't think I heard him whining once!

Got several comments on her bathing suit...really glad I forgot her bathing suit when we went to the ocean last time. Purchasing this one was a real treat!

Valerie, reluctantly playing at the spray park. Summer isn't quite in full swing! Well, the weather isn't anyways.

Cutesy!

Valerie is the awesomest BIG sister. She loves Charlie soooo much!

Dream Theater at Roseland Theater
I want Ethan to become THIS guy! He rocks on the keyboard. Do you see his ipad..?
Mark and I got to spend a few days to together. It was much needed time for just the two of us, and most importantly, time away from house hunting. We took 2 nights and went to PDX for our Anniversary. We saw Dream Theater, and spent the remainder of the time in Powell's Books. We had a blast. The concert was great, although I was one of the few females in the crowd. The drummer knew his stuff, despite his bad habit of spitting on the stage while playing. Jordan Rudess, Dream Theater's keyboardist, was amazing. I was mesmerized by his goatee and his crazy ability to manipulate his keyboard. Loved it, loved him! I could watch him all day! Mark and I went to Todai, and took our time eating a wonderful meal together. We ate dinner around 11pm at a bar close to the hotel. Happy hour provided us with a cheap ticket, enabling us to spend more money at Powell's!
After we got home, it was time to hit the streets for houses again. To sneak in some fun, we packed a picnic, and took the kids to Jefferson water park. Afterwards April, our agent, met us on 6th Ave to see one of our quick picks. The house was beautiful, charming, and completely renovated. It was built in the early 1900's and had some cool interior character. Unfortunately Mark googled the crime rate, and the sex offender statistics on the house:( Despite all it's charm, and cheap price, we will not being calling this house, our home!
